Mets 2024 Season

My two cents;
never heard of this young lady before this thread but as someone who has seen and participated firsthand in the power of the veterans / dog programs to help healing I applaud her efforts to raise awareness. How she achieved her “fame” is how she achieved it; it’s not her fault I presume that people latched onto the video (which I have not seen, my kids told me who she was), just more dumbing down evidence IMO.
Since I don’t participate in social media, except here, nor listen to sports talking heads I couldn’t care less about either of those aspects. As for the Mets, also very much in the don’t care category.

Good post.

People need to accept that because of how widespread social media has become/ meme culture, people become famous for incredibly stupid reasons sometimes. All it takes is for something to catch on online.

But if the person does some good after they get those 15 minutes of fame, all power to em

Great outing for Sevy.

Today is a big swing game for this team. Going 3-3 in 6 games against OAK/MIA is kind of a letdown, going 4-2 is a much better look.

We have 10 straight games against playoff teams coming up, so it’d be nice to grab this win today

The mood swings this team brings me makes St. John’s basketball feel like nothing lol
 
Brazoban, seems to be the walking proof of “beware of players with good stats on bad teams”.
Assuming with Manea going deep and Severino going the distance Mets have a fully available bullpen and Mendoza once again goes with the wrong guy.

A pickoff and then Garrett walks a 3rd batter!!! 🤬🤬🤬
 
Mahon comes in, throws 3 balls and then gives up s hit and boom the Mets bullpen, a gift that just keeps on giving. Looking another Little League loss right in the face!!
