South Fl Transfer

Saw the kid at half court during warmup talking with Simon & Clark Jr.

During game, was sitting right behind bench...Seemed to be a mix of game watching and head buried in his cell phone. More so on his phone.

Maybe he was texting other St. J's recruiting targets about the great things he was seeing. :)

Great news Paultzman as they beat Duke badly yesterday afternoon at Blacksburg, fans stormed the court after the win. Glad he didn't get to participate in that positive mayhem and only saw the big win over Butler and experienced a sold-out crowd on campus.

Really hoping it turns out we don't need this kid. Would love to see at least one more year of the dynamic duo.

Assuming he's gonna make decision quickly to enroll in spring semester wherever he goes ? If so, not sure what hard commits he could get about PT from our end.

Could be bad for chemistry if ponds and lovett both stay and Mcmurray commits. Can't imagine any of those three kids being happy coming off the bench and don't see any way we start three mighty mouses. We should only have such problems I guess .

Also would have to presume that mcmurray spoke with our guards himself to ascertain their intentions.

Don't sense you will see that problem.

I think that sentiment echoes the feeling of the board. This is the first time I might be happy if a highly regarded recruit doesn't pick us, as long as Lovett stays. What a duo they make, especially when healthy.

Others can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but my sense is that McMurray coming will not significantly impact the ultimate outcome of whether our dynamic duo elects to return in tact.

The clear inference is that the staff has reason to believe that a member of our backcourt (likely Lovett) may well leave at the end of the year. Now that could change, but I don't think McMurrraty being here will impact the end result. Personally, I'm hoping we get McMurray and then let the chips fall where they may.

Given

Undoubtedly our best scenario is having Lovett and Ponds together to as close to 4 years as possible. Love Lovett and hope he stays because his best bet and ours is continuing on his current trajectory.
