Man I want this to happen so bad.Yep, outplaying the Purdue giant in the Elite Eight is going to be pretty sweet.

We are #36 on offense and #96 on defense. considering we were in the 200s on defense after Dayton, with two of the five single worst performances in all of the NCAA, this is big, and encouraging, progress.Weathermannyc just texted our 114 crew that Kenyon ranking just went from 62 to 53 after this win
Bring on the Boilermakers come march!️Z so fat Man I want this to happen so bad.
We play Michigan now, it's a different story IMHO. Play with a health R.J. Luis, we win.We are #36 on offense and #96 on defense. considering we were in the 200s on defense after Dayton, with two of the five single worst performances in all of the NCAA, this is big, and encouraging, progress.

YesThat’s a good thing, right?
Positive news. But if this was a pre Pitino diagnosis, you just know it would end in amputation — of the non injured leg no less. That’s a good thing, right?

Not aimed at you at all, but one can’t really draw any conclusions from any games that are over. Many fans think you can, but the very nature of sports, that which gives us the beauty of sports, is that you absolutely cannot. A season is an adventurous journey, an unscientific process, not a formula.Full props for doing what we had to do. But you just can't draw any conclusions about any of our players after beating a team that DePaul would have clocked.
Not really because Michigan has lost three in a row (five out of its last six) games after their nice start (which included beating SJU). Neither team is the same just a month later.Let’s pull the brakes.
First of all they beat us like they were angry with us, 2nd Luis played one game against a bad team and who knows when/if comes back.
Team looks a lot better but getting carried away rooting for this team is never a good idea.
Still have to clean things up.Not really because Michigan has lost three in a row (five out of its last six) games after their nice start (which included beating SJU). Neither team is the same just a month later.
Agree. They beat the brakes off us all year. We don’t have a guard to stop McDaniel.Let’s pull the brakes.

I could be wrong, but it appears to me that Wilcher busts it on defense and does not get beaten off the dribble.Agree. They beat the brakes off us all year. We don’t have a guard to stop McDaniel.
If anything, it could be worse. He didn’t realize he could beat Jenkins at will until the end of the first half. And then he did it every possession.
How is your cocker spaniel doing since Jenkins ran it over with his car before the season started?Agree. They beat the brakes off us all year. We don’t have a guard to stop McDaniel.

I think the quote was “more of a pure point guard” compared to Jenkins after saying Jenkins was a combo guard.Jay Wright said Wilcher is a pure PG a few times on the telecast last night.
I think the guy knows a thing or 2 about coaching
Wright seemed to like Wilcher’s play after he missed a pretty much open 3 from the deep corner . The Rebound was tipped out to Alleyne , I think , then to Dunlap and then , back to Wilcher who had moved a few feet out of the Corner and this time , drained the 3 .I think the quote was “more of a pure point guard” compared to Jenkins after saying Jenkins was a combo guard.
I think there is still a little gap between Wilcher and a pure PG, but he’s in the ballpark.
I believe Jenkins is actually more of a wing that can handle than a combo guard the more I watch him.
