Can do what Louie did with Marcus Broadnax and Elander Lewis. Start one of them and then take them out at first dead ball.
That’s not correct. Soriano has always been skilled. Obviously he’s improved, but as a younger player his body wasn’t in good shape and he was foul prone.
I like Zuby, but he has the worst percentage on layups.Much like Wusu he does not elevate on his drives to the hoop for some reason. Unless he dunks.
He actually might have worse % on layups than Wusu did.
I have no problem with him shooting open jumpers. And he rebounds.
Zuby doesn’t finish agreed. With Wusu and Ledlum driving to the basket is the problem.I like Zuby, but he problems has the worst recent age on layups.
This after cancelling Gary Payton's scholarship in favor of these guys. Can do what Louie did with Marcus Broadnax and Elander Lewis. Start one of them and then take them out at first dead ball.
Take them out at first dead ball or after two minutes, whichever came first. Can do what Louie did with Marcus Broadnax and Elander Lewis. Start one of them and then take them out at first dead ball.
same with WilcherDunlap strikes me someone who's still not fully comfortable + playing to not make a mistake.
He’s rushing it. I don’t think it’s a long term problem. He’ll learn he needs to be flushing many of those close to the basket.Zuby doesn’t finish agreed. With Wusu and Ledlum driving to the basket is the problem.
Wilcher is thinking too much. Once a player starts reacting instead they hit a different gear. Coach will have to let him play through some mistakes to build his confidence or he’ll be looking over his shoulder everytime he hears the substitution horn.same with Wilcher
obviously a little different because he was a senior and not a freshmen but - the best, most recent example of this was Aaron Wheeler. There's a fine balance to letting guys play through mistakes, and Coach Anderson pulled Wheeler for any little mistake. When he finally let him go, Wheeler FLOURISHED.Wilcher is thinking too much. At the bottom line , I think RP knows exactly what he needs to do with these 2 prized Freshman and we have to accept that he’s in charge . They are getting hands on Teaching from a HOF Coach that is priceless .obviously a little different because he was a senior and not a freshmen but - the best, most recent example of this was Aaron Wheeler. Guys have to play, they have to get into the feel of the game, and they have to not have that feeling of constantly looking over their shoulder. For freshmen it's a little more understandable think that also is why there's often that Sophomore jump. I am very very confident Wilcher will get there sooner rather than later.
He did a great job in the Sacred Heart game of filling up the stat sheet: 5 pts (hit a 3), 4 rebs (3 offensive!), 4 assists, 2 steals, 2 turnovers in just under 16 minutes. You love to see that from him in a spot like this.
Agree, he has been terrible around the basket vis a vis put backs but he is a woek in progress and saw a glimmer of home versus Sacred Heart where he threw back one with authority for an easy dunk. Hopefully a confidence builder and a beginningI like Zuby, but he has the worst percentage on layups.
I may be wrong but , during the Summer Workouts , wasn’t the Board aflame with how bad a free throw hooter Zuby was ?Agree, he has been terrible around the basket vis a vis put backs but he is a woek in progress and saw a glimmer of home versus Sacred Heart where he threw back one with authority for an easy dunk. 15-20I may be wrong but , during the Summer Workouts , wasn’t the Board aflame with how bad a free throw hooter Zuby was ?
To date , I can’t remember a free throw he’s missed , whenever he’s gone to the line.. i haven’t checked the stats but , it seems like he’s got good shooting form from the line .
Just a indication that Zuby is Coachable too and still working on getting a complete game .
as Andrew noted 75% to date in reg season; in Pace game he was 3-11--guess he is a quick learner because as I watched him vs. Pace, he was the last one I would want shooting FT's.I may be wrong but , during the Summer Workouts , wasn’t the Board aflame with how bad a free throw hooter Zuby was ?

Both he and Ledlum are flat footed around the rim.I like Zuby, but he has the worst percentage on layups.

They were affected by the Wusu itis that still lingers in CA. RP is seeking a cure . Or , a exorcism .Both he and Ledlum are flat footed around the rim.
