Porter Moser
Boy I wish we would talk to Cluess but he’s probably pissed and hurt right now .

We really shot our selves in the foot with this one.
No he's not.

He's very interested.

You may disagree with going after Moser specifically but SJU is not worried about missing out on Cluess.because they are kicking the tires on others. It works both ways. How many openings this year has Cluess been a candidate for? All these schools beating down his door?

I get the liking of Tim but stop acting like a 60 year old MAAC coach is the only person who can save SJU basketball.

Funny, years ago when I started out in my career a mentor once told me, always support Plan A but have Plan B in your pocket so if plan A fails..... Well SJU clearly has no idea... I can’t believe professionals are running the University. Looks like Complete mom and pop operation.

Add a penny or two and bring that offer to Mike Rhoades goddamnit!

I’m not saying Cluess won’t still take the job or that he’s a savior, by come on, this was more than just “kicking tires”

This is not on Crag IF what we are hearing is true. I would be very concerned if everything is true that we could lose Cragg as well. How do you bring in a AD and not let him do his job? Was Oliva involved because of $ or ego. What's the story here?
I don’t think it’s Cragg that’s the issue AT ALL. That said, let’s put this to bed and hire Cluess. He can do this. Make sure he has some great recruiters on staff and let’s get to work.
I agree, no one else want the sju and if they act like they're interested, it's only to get a better contract at their school.
So, yeah I'm finally with cluess.
Get this process over with and start recruiting. If he isn't pissed

You can see a lot of posters taking shots at Cragg. I personally think he is finding along with all of us, that he doesn't have the free hand to make the hire of his choice. He is finding his biggest job is not finding a qualified coach. He finds himself in the middle of the politics of SJU.
Oliva is the real director of this ongoing tragedy.
A lot more than finding a coach is at stake. If Oliva wins, I would say kiss the Big East goodbye and realize we are going down to the level that Oliva has brought us to. If Cragg wins and is allowed to be what he was hired to be, then we have a chance. Maybe it will take longer than we like but I think he will build a winner.

Hopefully, Oliva’s credibility is in negative territory by now.
Kicking more tires at this point threatens to further unravel the roster imo.
Sign Cluess!

We are staying in house now, but they can’t find Luca’s number.

Where's Dejan Matic when you need him? Maybe they can offer Matt A. the job?
