Pitino
This search as been on long enough, worried about losing the players we have and not getting the players we need to move forward. Just hire Pitino and lets go!
I'm on board now. Make him an offer at least. This team is going to continue to perpetually suck if we don't have a real coach.

He has been the surest thing from day 1

Sing it.
All we are saying, is give Rick a chance...

Plenty of Law School grads available to defend Pitino if he comes to Queens. Run the other way.

Hurley, Cluess, Moser, St .Jean, Amaker, Hewitt, some guy from Yale....Getting closer to that bottom of the barrel.

Slick Rick still out there.

The funniest line I heard was this morning from Gio, "if they hire Pitino they would need to perform an exorcism on him"

And/or themselves.

Pitino in twitter ever the diplomat saying he coached Mark Jackson he is a basketball junkie hire him! Pitino could not be more obvious that he is telling SJU what about me you clowns??
Pitino is for the taking, twitter going nuts for him now
Shouldn’t matter, but unfortunately it does.

Should have hired him after Brian was fired. Should have hired him after Jarvis was fired. This is our last chance. If we don't hire him now, some other school surely will in the near future.

Will this please sink in: Pitino has had zero interest in ever coaching at St. John's.

Pretty sure he said he has interest, it came with a stipulation. So to say he has zero interest is flat out wrong. Let that sink in

And can you be specific in letting us know exactly what that stipulation is? (Hey, at this point, with things totally in a downward spiral, I'd probably welcome it if he took the job -- but it has to be offered first, and I don't see that happening.) And for the record, this isn't the first time people have gotten on the Pitino bandwagon (pre-scandal), myself included, but he did, in fact, show zero interest whenever there was an opening.

The interview last week asking for an apology from the sdny was a sign of respect to sju, and he has been working it behind the scenes with his attorney.
