Niagara, Wed. Dec. 9, 5pm, FS1 & 970AM

Sloppy sloppy sloppy. But a win is a win! These are all lessons for the future in how to handle crunch time situations. Getting the positive result is a nice bonus

I'll take the win but other than Yakwe's blocks and keeping them in play there really wasn't a lot to feel good about today

Beyond horrible capped off by an absolutely ridiculously stupid play by Balamou. Probably worst games of the year for Sima and Mussini

I DVR'd the game and based on this thread, i think i may just delete it when i get home....glad we won!

Coach still does not know when to call timeouts.

Until Jones hit the fouls SJU missed two front ends of 1 and 1's and missed a layup. Time out nothing, save them for just what they used it for. Players need to make plays.

Disagree. Young team did not perform. Needed instruction. I expected more progress at this point. Can't inbound or handle a press. Too much dribbling. Team needs more discipline in moving the ball up court.

Not thrilled tonight.

With the exception of Yakwe, looked like they took a step backward.

And Durand Johnson was a no-show.

he started off well and then completely disappeared. head scratcher

This game can't end soon enough.

This season can't end soon enough.

It can, watching is a choice. I get into the games for sure and live and die from buzzer to buzzer but realistically, I accept the year for what it is. No doubt Sima, Yakwe, and Mussini are pieces and as has been posted by others, I too am hearing there is an excellent chance LoVett will be eligible the 18th. So I plan to watch, bitch, enjoy and look to the future. At the end of the day, the Johnnies won and the Mets got a professional 2nd baseman so it has been a good sports day.

I did the same and probably will just delete it although somewhat curious about this horrible play by Balamou.

I'm predicting a much better performance against Syracuse. Remember where you heard it first!

I'll have what you're smoking (drinking).

Pretty much how I feel. I do can't wait for the season to end but I'll get sucked into every game anyway just like Charlie Brown trying to kick than damn football

Such is the life of a st johns fan

It won't happen, but if we're fortunate enough to get LoVett eligible and Ellison heals up, I'd be interested in throwing an all-freshman starting 5 of LoVett, Mussini, Ellison, Yakwe & Sima into the fire and getting them ready for next year. Durand Johnson isn't helping us stay competitive and although I appreciate Christian working hard, I value the other guys gaining experience more. I like what Mvouika has been doing but he can do it off the bench. Is starting 5 freshman crazy?

So with that logic Mullin would have to have called 87 "instructional" times out, one for each possession. I get as frustrated and vent ridiculously during the games more than most but it is about players playing, not in-game instruction. And right now our players are limited, you give coaching way too much credit.
