I'm predicting a much better performance against Syracuse. Remember where you heard it first!
I heard it first from Lavin on the post game show. Thinks we are catching Syracuse at the right time. That's what worries me.

Being out coached tonight.
Let us never speak of this game again
It won't happen, but if we're fortunate enough to get LoVett eligible and Ellison heals up, I'd be interested in throwing an all-freshman starting 5 of LoVett, Mussini, Ellison, Yakwe & Sima into the fire and getting them ready for next year. Durand Johnson isn't helping us stay competitive and although I appreciate Christian working hard, I value the other guys gaining experience more. I like what Mvouika has been doing but he can do it off the bench. Is starting 5 freshman crazy?
This game can't end soon enough.

Really? Niagara stunk, they stunk a little more than we did in as ugly and poorly played game by both teams as there can be. Casey did nothing to distinguish himself, neither did Mullin because pretty much every player on the court stunk except for maybe Balamou's 1st half but he got in the spirit snd stunk in the 2nd half.

tried to think of "nice" things to say about this game. It was tough other than the three obvious: 1) W ... 2) Yakwe got some more game experience 3) ...No injuries?
It was a stinker and under some past regimes we would have found a way to lose. I'm thinking that this young crew completely fell into the trap game looking ahead to Syracuse at MSG. It is not logical for this team and they were probably told repeatedly not to look past Niagara, but it is natural. We are fortunate to just move forward and take the W that we should have gotten, and most likely take the L that everyone (Except Steve Lavin) had penciled in for Sunday. A win would be fantastic but not getting embarrassed would be a good sign.

It would be very hard to believe that this team to look past ANY team, they are horrible. Have no expectations so it doesn't bother me so much. It will be nice to get Lovett, but still won't expect much of a difference. Lets be patient and hopefully they will grow together as the season progresses.
This is an interesting point you raise about the international players.
I am going to the Syracuse game on Sunday and will be in a suite filled with Syracuse fans, I am way into deep with the amount of pre game smack talking that I have done. Not sure how I will show face again if we are no competitive which is all I ask for most of the times.
