#sjubb hosted Mount Vernon foursome Jamie Wiltshire, Gregory Calixte, Derrick Hamlin and Jason Douglas-Stanley.

#sjubb had coaches from Mount Vernon, Christ the King and Cardozo in the house today. Support from the area is clearly there.

Matt A is right, a win is a win. Hopefully they learn not to pick up their dribble against the press unless they're going to pass the ball immediately. Hopefully they learn and improve from this game. 6 - 3 we move on. Mussini's shot was horrible tonight even when he had time to set himself. We need him to hit shots against that Syracuse zone. The question is, who do we put at the foul line against that zone to move the ball around and play through like Lavin did with Pointer? I think Sima is our best bet. He passes very well for big man.

So we are all depressed over the poor play and then we get to these last few posts as to how the power brokers in the City , CTK , Cardoza, Mount Vernon and a bunch of local players are at the game , having a great time and believe in the future of the program. That my friends is far more important than any of our opinions. And to top it off our coach who sat silent his first game , got killed by a division 2 team and who didn't have it in him to coach according to many has now become a raving lunatic screaming and swearing at everyone. I for one love where we are going.
 
Best part of today's game aside from it being a win was that I got to meet coach Louie who graciously took a pic with me :)
 
Few things about Mullin tonight.

Right around the first TV timeout, Rohrssen said something to him ( I think it was regarding Johnson's lack of hustle getting back on a break). Chris yanked him like whiplash.

Camera on him during in bounds play or free throw at Niagara's end, not sure which.
My lips read, "Dave, What the Fuck?"

Near the end, as the team walked toward him during a time out when they couldn't in bound the ball, he got in M'Vouika's face and asked "What did I just tell you?"
As M'Vouika remained silent, Chris again yelled "What did I just tell you?"

After the handshake, he looked over toward where the team files out and gave somebody some shit.

It's fun watching my idol evolve into a college basketball coach.

Mullin's parting words were likely directed at Balamou. He said something like "take it back out", referring to Felix trying to hit a layup up 4 with the ball and a fresh clock.
 
you beat the syracuse zone with a guard who can penetrate. Jordan was that kind of guard. This team doesnt have a true guard let alone a guard who can penetrate. I am going to the Cuse game but I feel it is going to be very depressing. Especially after tonight's showing
 
I heard from a reliable source tonite while at the game that Lovett will be available for Syracuse! Is this old news? Or did anyone else here this?

My understanding is that the earliest that he could possible be eligible is the Dec 18 game
That would be our first game of the second semester of the school year
