There has to be a way Felix can sue for the year back that Lavin screwed him over that game. Insanity defense maybe ? I'm really starting to like this kid more and more

There were many ridiculous acts and omissions by Lavin over the course of the past three seasons because truth be told I had no complaints the first two years, but the shafting that Felix got was inexcusable. Unfortunately allowing Jamal branch to play the second half of sophomore year , which is never discussed , is also very high on the list. Had Jamal sat out those 20 games we would be a much different team this season and he would have experienced a better collegiate career. Everyone lost out.

You can blame Lavin for a lot of things, but playing Branch second semester is not one of them. The kid did not come to SJU to take off a year-and-a-half from organized basketball. My recollection is that Phil Greene was playing point at the time and Jamal was desperately needed.

Don't really think he came here to live on the bench for a team without a point guard but that is another story.

Best they can do is tie. Or if they get fouled on a three, they can go ahead. Ok, that;'s the best they can do. But there will still probably be time for us to get off a shot. We can do this. I think.

Until Jones hit the fouls SJU missed two front ends of 1 and 1's and missed a layup. Time out nothing, save them for just what they used it for. Players need to make plays.
