Mike Repole Piece

Irritating day in Johnny Land

Not much controversy here IMHO. This is 0.5 Nanograms of meloxicam which is half of one billionth of a gram. That is an infinitesimal amount of medication that will not do anything to effect a horse in any way. The standards of sub-therapeutic positives are set-up to protect the integrity of the sport and in cases like this are not evidence of intentional wrongdoing.

Says it all about Rick in Zach piece

“Really just the opportunity to play for a coach such as Rick Pitino and then going back home, being able to play in the Garden for a coach who’s had so much success at so many different places at so many difference levels,” Dingle, a Valley Stream, N.Y. native who is testing the NBA Draft waters and is focused on seeing the process through until the cutoff date of May 31, said in a phone interview. “I’m really excited to learn from a mind who has been around the game of basketball as much as he has and understands it as much as he has.”

Repole playing for Rick? 😂

Interesting tidbits all over, but didn't realize his involvement with UCF was quite that strong.
Thank Father Shanley and glad to see Craig involved as well.

Great article. Repole gets it. Pitino gets it. Shanley gets it. We are in the absolute best hands we could ever be in, and I'll argue as good a hands as any college basketball program in the country.

We have people with academic, business and basketball acumen running the show. And we have plenty of money to back to support us.

Enjoy the ride boys!

Great article, it’s a shame that some of the BOT and SJU admin did not see Mike Repole’s vision for the program in the prior two hiring cycles.

I’m thrilled he’s back in the fold, I’m happy to see that Fr Shanley saw the forest through the trees . Onward and upward for SJU hopefully we can settle CMA’s contract soon and move on to talking about the 23-24 schedule.
