And again, Mets go up 1-0 top 4, Carrasco gives up at least 2 bottom 4. Unreal
 
Get up 5-1 and Scherzer gives up 5. Really don't see things getting much better.
 
You can't fire the team so I guess it is time to discuss who can replace Buck? Carlos Beltran hanging around???

Scherzer is no longer SCHERZER and same with Verlander. This is not something that can be fixed in season. Our bullpen sucks except maybe 2 or 3 guys. We are and have been a bat short coming into the season and with Lindor stinking it up and Alonso out hurt it just exposes the weakness even more.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln how was the play.

This may be a tongue in cheek comments so my bad if so but Buck has done nothing wrong; no great secret the veterans on the roster almost to a man have underachieved big time. Nimmo and Robertson are probably the only exceptions in my mind, Alonso maybe. Senga has been good as he adjusts to the major leagues.
Pitching has been beyond horrendous with Scherzer and Verlander disappointingly at the front of that line.

I assume you are making this up. The team hasnā€™t been home for very much at all. I guess the Mets fans theyā€™ve seen on the road? The guy is an all ā€œarmsā€ hitter. He is a career .215 hitter who has been released 3 times. Nothing will fix what isnā€™t there. Heā€™s a stiff.

I see it. One of the most ridiculous things Iā€™ve ever seen. He sucks but heā€™s always sucked. I donā€™t get why they canā€™t admit this bum ainā€™t it. Season is gone anyway. Let him go and play Vientos or Mauricio. They may not be it but we already know it about Vogleout.

I honestly hope Cohen fires Eppler before he starts making any trades. I donā€™t want any of these kids traded and I donā€™t want him making any more trades period. Hopefully the Yanks destroy us tonight so Cohen is forced to do something.

If they held on to the kids last year at the deadline when they had a good chance of making of World Series, I doubt they move them now.
