Very well pitched game from the Mets tonight. Senga was sharp. Mets are owed a lot of home games. I believe the Mets had played the fewest Home Games in MLB. Need to make them count. Gotta start somewhere.

Senga pitched great. Personally I was annoyed he got taken out after 7 even with 100 pitches but it worked out fine. Lindor heating up so that's good.

Today’s baseball. Apparently, you turn into a pumpkin if you throw more than 100 pitches. This is on top of the fact that Senga also “only” pitches on 5 days rest instead of 4 because that’s what he did in Japan. Oh well they won..so…

Not sure I like your chances Carrasco vs Nola. One can hope.
 
Alvarez is a much better catcher than I thought he was at such a young age. Is going to be take charge behind the plate. Last night he was alert to call time for a mound visit with Senga as clock was set to expire and saved the ball penalty call. Seeing him converse with Senga was interesting as does he speak Japanese or Senga speak Spanish ("Spanese" or "Japnish").

I have to agree with you.

Eppler blew last year’s trade deadline. Specifically, the Ruf deal which included JD Davis and prospects. The Voglebach move has also been a complete disaster. Anyone think we could use Colin Holderman and his 2.18 ERA with the Pirates right about now? On top of that they resigned Voglebach after last season. Why? Based on what? He probably should be cut already for many reasons. Doubled down on a mistake.

I mean to be fair he brought in Dave Robertson (thank God) as he has been a godsend. He can’t be blamed for the Edwin Diaz fiasco. Of course, technically he could have blocked his participation but…

Then again many of us thought Alvarez and Baty should have been here much earlier. Tommy Pham? Yuck. Surely a mixed bag but with the resources at his disposal he could have done better.

My gameplan is to show up at 6:45 today get all my free drinks and food done by 5th inning so the ending of the game wont bother me if the Cookie crumbles

My buddy was talking to him about some pizza place they both go to in Philly. Toconeli or taconelly or something like that. Apparently Harper originally tried it on that bar still sports Portnoy guy YouTube show or something like that. I was surprised he turned around and talked to my buddy. Always hated him as a met fan but he definitely was cool to my buddy

LOL…one bite everyone knows the rules! Portnoy does a pizza review for his Bar Stool website.

Harper ripped two balls last night for singles…Thank God they weren’t elevated, otherwise they might have left the stadium.
