Patch is disgustingly big and red. I love me some SJU red but in baseball that reeks Fillies. FU Philly.

Hopefully, beating up on the rancid Fish can help get the Mets going. We need to get Alvarez some ABs he ain’t gonna get experience watching Nido play.

You are correct. Even when we lose, LaFrieda's makes the day better! BTW, you're at Citifield, everything is expensive. Even the water!
 
Good win. Padres are a contender.

You look at the bottom of the Mets lineup and you see Guillorme, Escobar and Nido. In no world is that a contending teams bottom of the order. At some point Alvarez, Baty and a player who can hit must be added. I mean those three are backup players. We had some luck last night on a bunt and swinging Nido bunt but that is not good enough. Objectively the Padres have a much better lineup and we may see them again. We will need reinforcements whoever they may be.

Hopefully Marte is healthy down the stretch to not need Guillorme in an every day role. But, Escobar and Nido also excaberate how iffy Vogelbach and Canha are as well. Baty should be up by May/June, and move Escobar to the RH platoon.

I’m a bit nervous about Max. He looks like he’s aged quite a bit, doesn’t have a put away pitch like he once did.

I trust your math on the service time. Remember that both Baty and Vientos have already put in time last season as did Alvarez. I assume you are figuring that in.

The Mauricio Shot the other day was a laser. He just needs to continue to improve his eye. When he makes contact his ball jumps. A good comp for him is Alfonso Soriano. He reminds me of hi….in a good way.
 
Ah, Ronny Mauricio the forgotten Mets prospect. No idea what the Mets are thinking here but shouldn’t Mauricio be picking up an Outfielders glove? He won’t be playing 3B/SS/2B. His bat is really maturing but where might he play? Maybe they are just trying to up his trade value as a SS?
