Mets 2024 Season

Opening day tomorrow anyone from red.fans going? I'll be in the metropolitan club with a large group of friends, if anyone wants to stop by for a shot of Tully on me! Let's go Mets....
 
I want to be a weather person. Wrong most of the time but still get to keep your job. Aren't these the same people who predicted that Manhattan would be under water by now? ;) :ROFLMAO:

They use to have a song called “Listen to Lonny”. I would goof around with my son and change the words to “never listen to Lonny“ he’s always getting it wrong. The Mets easily could have gotten the game in today. No rain is forecast until much later in the day now. I took a meteorology course at St. John’s as an elective. I should have gone all in and then been wrong most of the time. 😀
 
I used to actually like going to games and sitting through rain delays and hoping they'd get the game in.

Meteorology ain't a science after all...Right?
 
Actually Mets were not the only ones to postpone. Phillies and Orioles also did the same because of potential storms. (Oddest postponement today was the Twins with their dome stadium.)
Might have been good for Mets to have a day off after 7 straight games and 3 straight losses.

I don't believe the Twins new stadium has a roof.
