Good to know, in terms of recruiting I would nevrr give up on Coach Lavin.
Lets beat the Hoyas today and make it clear for Jermaine thaty we are the school for him .

I expect us to be much, much better on the board next year as Sampson matures/gets bigger, and Obekpa continues to learn. Plus whatever Jones and Gift can give us.

There is none..Jordans the only other player where in for in 2013..Lavins recruting magic has seemed to fall off drastically..Which is a problem since hes an average x's and o's coach at best he needs elite talent
 
Now we know why Lavin recruits nationally, so many of these NYC kids have no loyalty to the area schools. I personally would not hold any scholarship in the hopes of landing a local product. But. Frankly this has been an issue for SJU for years.How in hell does a kid pick Cincy over us?

I don't know why he'd want to go there either. If it had been Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, UNC or a school of their ilk, then I may could understand. To choose Cincy over a school that is in your backyard, and of similar ilk.... Please!

I agree youd think any young kid who sits and watches Cincinattis offense on dispaly would be turned off

I haven't checked out the JUCO ranks of late, but I'm sure the top JUCO prospects are probably either committed or have their list of schools etched into stone. If the JUCO prospect isn't a legitimate big, then I'm not sure whether I want him or not.
 
Tough loss .I was invissioning Lawrence playing for us. I dont think any of our starters are going to leave after this year, which is good, but we still have a few pieces of the puzzle to fill. It looks like Maven is a reliable source. Hopefully Gift improved this year.
 
Well guys I know not getting him hurts, but we could still get Jordan. Plus, GodsGift will be back and do not forget Hooper. Nobody is going to NBA so we have all the guys we have now, plus a healed Branch, GG and Hooper, and maybe Rysheed. I really thought we had Lawrence considering beating CINCY in CINCY. But oh well, stay optimistic, better days will come.
