If you liked the series "Leverage" years ago on TNT, you'll like "Leverage:Redemption" on Amazon. The entire original cast is back, with the exception of Timothy Hutton, whose character has been replaced by Noah Wylie.
what's it about ?

Basically, it's about a group of people who set up con artists to get revenge for people who have been screwed by the con artists. Each episode centers on a different situation.

Here's the official Wikipedia explanation. It's not riveting TV but my wife and I found it entertaining.

Rex Burger and Lobster in a Mineola. Great roll as usual just wish they opened a place on the water . 9.25 claw rating

Is there a set clawbience deduction for not being on the water?

Clawcellent question. No deductions for not being on the water. I start with my base rating. Just for the roll. From there it can get downgraded for service or crap beer. But since I'm really there to judge the roll I dont downgrade for lack of clawbiance but great clawbiance can definitely bump it up a little bit. So can free drinks ( claw goggling ) and a hottie friendly waitress or bartender can certainly bump up a roll slightly. But Rex Burger and Lobster you are going strictly for the roll

Jean Smart was great in that AND in Hacks (and Watchmen for those that haven't watched that yet).  She's a scene stealer even in small roles.  Far cry from Designing Women.  LOL
we started watching hacks. excellent show

Went to Salted in Northport with my wife to get lobster rolls for lunch. While very good I was a bit shocked when the check came and it said lobster roll $42X2=$84. Menu did not list prices and I did not ask because last year when I got it from there it was like $21.95 and when I went to DJ's Clamhouse in Elwood a couple of months ago it was like $21.95 also. With one cocktail, tax and tip I went for $125 for basically a couple of sandwiches.

I can live with $35 if it’s good. $42 it would have to be served with a Bronx Pale Ale

The prices are spiking because MJM is eating them for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snack. /media/kunena/emoticons/silly.png

I just finished watching the British Police procedural “Line of Duty” on Prime (4 seasons of 6 episodes each available—2 more seasons available on Acorn).  Very good.

Hit and Run is a new series on Netflix, watched the first three episodes so far and it is very good.
Takes place between Tel Aviv and NYC.

Binged two highly publicized and recommend shows the past week: Ted Lasso and Mare of Easttown

both deserve the hype they’ve been getting. Ted Lasso is a goddamn treasure. Even the most cynical person in the world has to be broken down by how genuinely sweet that show is.

Mare of Easttown was great too. Thought the first 4 episodes or so were damn near perfect television. The last couple episodes got a bit tedious with the writers going “let’s just stuff as many plot twists in here as possible”. It can become desensitizing when there’s one twist after another, but it was still a great watch. Kate Winslet was outstanding. I live right outside Delco and have been around it my whole life so I have to say the accents and little nods to restaurants in the area were spot on and I appreciated that part of it

i also watched Succession about a month ago. I think it’s the best show on TV. Season 3 can’t get here soon enough

Mare of Easttown is superb television, I disagree with the NY Times t.v. critic who didn't like it, he is a snob. Well acted, well written, the local environs were super and being familiar with that "accent" , they nailed it. Jean Smart was also great as Mare's mom. Kevin Bacon's daughter was stellar as the daughter in law. Could not recommend it more highly.

Kate Winslet if she doesn't win an Emmy there should be an investigation.

(I loved Kate Winslet ever since the Titanic scene when Leo was sketching her with his sketchpad and she had on the necklace.)
