Homeland And All Things Maher

What a hokey finale. Thought Morikawa stole the show with a modicum of reality.
Watched Stick and enjoyed it well enough, even though it is everything I hate about Hollywood telling sports stories. It could have been so much stronger if they avoided the outlandish fairy-tale twists and cliches.

Well this post aged poorly as renewal for Season 5 was announced today though no dates were mentioned.

From the story. Didn't realize White was in upcoming Mandalorian movie:
The 2026 release window also indicates that the wait for season 5 may not be as long as previously expected. Parts of The Bear season 4 were filmed during season 3 production, which helped ensure that there would only be a one-year hiatus between seasons, but season 5 does not have this advantage.

From White starring in The Mandalorian & Grogu to Ebon Moss-Bachrach being in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe films, the show's series regulars are booked and busy with other projects. Nevertheless, The Bear season 5 is currently expected to have a 2026 release.

Cuz I like making myself look stupideder. I realized after watching a couple episodes that for some reason somehow I started season 4 at episode five or six and was having issues keeping up. LOL. Started from the beginning this weekend and now my confusion is being addressed. PS Yes we're a month behind on everything after just a week away.

I don't know about you but I don't watch animated (I let me son update me on any lit/anime related mythology/canon) so the slate is limited. Mando and Grogu movie in the spring. Gosling's Starfighter movie in '27 and Ahsoka Season 2 in development and expected later in '26 is all I can recall being solid. Of course I'm still not done with Andor. Only finished ep 9 last night.

Yeah I’m not into animated stuff that much . I still have to see the skeleton crew thing.

I was hesitant about the animated stuff too, but it's the best thing Disney has done with Star Wars, especially Rebels and Bad Batch.

Ahsoka season 1 was such a disappointment for me. The cast seemed to be sleepwalking through the whole series. Rosario Dawson plays her with little to no emotion and zero energy. I was pumped to see the Rebels characters in live-action, but they were so wooden. It was such an uninspired show.

Aside from Mando seasons 1 and 2, Andor and Rogue One, Disney Star Wars has been putrid.
