Harrison 2,000 point tracker

@NYPost_Brazille: D'Angelo Harrison shooting career-high 45 percent from the field. Making 35 percent of 3's. Averaging 6.2 rebounds. #sjubb

@NYPost_Brazille: D'Angelo Harrison also getting to the line 6.9 times a night. Having tremendous year. has come a very long way. #sjubb

@NYPost_Brazille: He probably doesn't get drafted, and will have to work his way into league, but I see a lot of John Starks in D'Angelo Harrison. #sjubb

Marillac's favorite player all-time, but he doesn't have the physical tools to play in the league. If anyone can scrape by on skill, it will be him...but he just isn't a good athlete nor does he has the size.

I think he will play in the NBA at some point. Will be a great Euro player.

Harrison is listed at 6'4". All players stretch their size, but he doesn't look small next to Dom or Rysheed. What do you peg his size at?

Congrats to Phil for scoring his 1000th pt vs nova on Tuesday. 1012 for his career

Agreed he isn't the athlete Starks was. Love how crafty he is and of course the aggression he plays with but it's tough to project him in the league. Hope I'm wrong

If you ever saw the Starks throw down over Jordan in the NBA playoffs you know DLo is not Starks. But Starks was undisciplined and had no mid-range game or craftiness to speak of. I see D being more like a Sam Casell type, not that athletic, but great skills and game savvy, with a terrific mid-range game as well as the ability to hit the three. In the pros, if D became more consistent from three, which frequently happens with pros, he could be a very productive player on the right team. I truly hope it happens for him.

A similar player I'd compare his situation to is Troy Bell who played for BC in the early 00's. If you remember, Troy won BE player of the year twice, but was undersized as a 6'1 shooting guard. He was drafted in the first round and ended up playing a total of 34 minutes in the NBA. He's made a fine career for himself playing overseas.

True but DLo is several inches taller and much stronger. Not as quick. We'll see. If he doesn't make it in the NBA, 10-12 years getting paid well to ball in Spain, Italy or Greece is not a bad thing. And with DLo's smarts and maturity I think he'd get a lot out of the experience.

I have stood next to him. He is a legit 6'4, at least in sneakers.

He will have that in four games

Yep, and the fourth game is against Duke on National TV

22.5 ppg to do that in 4. If he's close, and Duke is killing us, we will probably force feed him the ball, so he can get it in front of the home crowd.

Either way, expect a pregame ceremony on 1/31 v. Providence.

I've never felt that lack of height would keep Dlo out of the NBA. Lack of athleticism has been a bigger concern of mine. He has obviously otten in better shape and increased his athleticism and quickness. He has also become extremely adept at using his body to create spacing and get his shot off, or creating contact and finishing the play. His shooting percentage from the 3 pt. line is the only thing that might be an impediment---and so far this year, he is shooting it better. As shown by Jakarr, any player can work hard to improve his shot.
