Great work MJ (especially noting that he passed Russell), but you forgot to mention that he is now only 244 points away from the magic number ;).

It may have been Rysheed's day, but D'Angelo still managed to add 22 points to his career total. That makes it 1778 points for his career. 222 to go.

And he passed George Johnson today to move to #6. Next stop Zendon in probably 2 games

21 more for D'angelo tonight. That's 1799 for his career. 201 points to go, and he will hit that magical 2,000 mark.

Didn't add his 9 points from the Long Beach St. game on Monday night. Career total is now 1808. 152 points away.

If he scores just three points he will pass Zendon to move into fifth place on Sunday .He also can move into fourth place, passing Bob Zawoluk, with a nineteen point effort. Go D'Angelo!!!

1) Chris Mullin 2440
2) Malik Sealy 2402
3) Felipe Lopez 1937
4) Bob Zawoluk 1826
5) Zendon Hamilton 1810

Quite impressive. We should keep a tracker for Phil and Dom who both may become 1,000 point scorers this year.

D'Angelo with 21 points today is now 4th leading SJU scorer all-time. Today he passed Bob Zawoluk 1826 and Zendon Hamilton 1810. Felipe is next!

Donny Marshall talking up DLo today and the Big East. DLo will join some great Johnnie names soon.
Marshall said Sealy is one of the three or four best players he ever played against. Pretty high praise

Nice work today D'lo!
Well done.
Love the unselfishness too!
Much better shot selection this year.Better FG percentage and helps team more.

Call me crazy but I think Harrison logs more minutes in the NBA then Jordan.

When all is said and done, he may wish he had those 7 games back when he was suspended. Then again, IMO, he may not have developed into the player he is now, and more importantly not the man and leader he's become.

I dont know if there is a more skilled guard in the BE than Dlo. That is what he has developed into over these four years. I think ive loved this kid more each and every game he has played. There was a play late in todays game where the ball was going out of bounds, and it would have been just fine if dlo didnt make a run at it, that's what EVERY other player on the court did, but dlo still went after it. In a 25 pt game for a lose ball he had no business getting and he did it anyway. He damn near got it to.

This kid deserves every little ounce of recognition he gets for his play this year. Go make a run for national POY Dlo. People might think thats a crazy statement, you think dlo does too?
