Harrison 2,000 point tracker

poor. poor harrison. he will definitely hit the 2,000 point mark but i bet if you ask him he would trade all of those points for a ncaa tourney appearance.

36 to go. Seems like it will never happen, but we know that eventually it will.

He got halfway there tonight. 18 points to go. Could happen Saturday. That's a great reason for fans to come out to MSG.

With 15 points this afternoon Harrison is at 1997 as of today. He uncharacteristically left several points on the line or he would have hit the two thousand mark at home. He should get it at Butler and more importantly let's hope he does it in a winning effort.

Just for fun here is an outside the box type of question for people to consider. Currently the combined career point totals of Sir Dominic Pointer and Phil Greene IV trail the career point total of D'Angelo Harrison by 37 points; Given Harrison's recent decreased offensive production and Pointer's recent increased offensive role do you think team DOMPHIL together will exceed D'Angelo's career point total?

Pointer 883
Greene 1077
Combined DOMPHIL: 1960

Interesting. I would like to see Dom get to 1,000. It's possible.

Dom was the highest ranked kid of the class. It hurts that it took 4 years for him to fulfill that promise. If he played like this from the beginning my god.

To me he is this years MVP.

Staff didn't know how to use him right until forced to. A better staff would have found a way to play him, Sanchez and Sampson at the same time last year.

I watched this girl from Garden City about ten years ago break all kinds of LI scoring records, and she absolutely took every shot she could senior year.

What impresses me about Harrison is that he's not firing away, but is letting the game come to him. That has been the most radical part of his improvement I believe. Even with 2,000 on the line and the game safe at hand, he didn't push to hit 2,000 at home.

I miss him already and hes not even gone.

Got it tonight. Unlike many here I do not put much stock in the 2000 points when compared to SJU players that played without the 3 point line or those that made their teams better. These are the most enigmatic 2000 points ever scored by Big East player. Time to close this thread.

Actually don't close this thread. Because it is starting to look like the lone positive of this season. Dangelo Harrison was my first favorite player I've ever followed from freshmen all the way to senior year.

I'm gonna miss this dude when he's gone and off to bigger and better things whether on the court or off. My heart gets broken when I go to butler boards and see their fans saying he will be working at a gas station.

I say f--k them. F--k everyone in the entire conference who hates D'Angelo. Whether the 2,000 points came without a NCAA appearance or not, you'll never see a more passionate player at SJU. Ever. I'll never forget this kid. In my opinion number 11 should be retired. There I said it. Goodnight. Congratulations DLo, a true warrior

Harrison is going to be the first St. John´s player to lead scoring (average) the four years.

And interestingly enough Mr. Harrison could potentially reach the third highest Big East career total since 1997-98

Harrison didn't make the top 20 for the Wooden award. Nobody from the BE left on the list.
