From a fan base perspective, you could call it a 'neutral court game'. However, there are also other things that contribute, such as travel and familiarity of the court itself.

Saw the last 3 minutes of the game. Why is Sampson on the bench? Fouled Out? Did gift play well to be on the court? Read that branch should of been out there. From what i saw DLO cost us the game with the turnover at the foul line. Depaul came back and hit two straight baskets i believe.
One play didn't cost us the game. Hek, look at dummy Pointer again with another one of his bird brain technicals. Did you miss Harrison's offense and hustle throughout the game?

Didn't see the whole game. I'm sure Harrison played well. But that play was very critical. No reason to force anything.

Sad, very, very sad..What can you say when every game ends the same way..Brutal loss to a better than expected Depaul team.. 2 nice freshman in Garrett and Hamilton.
We have a very weak frontcourt and other teams kill us inside with putbacks and our lack of rebounding ability.
Sampson is having a very poor season so far and we are missing a contribution from him. This team was constructed with him being a important part and it isn't happening.
Harrison forces too much in too many games at crunch time. He has good stats, except for shooting % which is only adequate. It's his judgments at game's end that are questionable.
Appearing like this season is unraveling fast.
Don't know if this team has the tenacity to recover. We'll see.
The NIT may even be slipping away..

I have been trying to keep positive every single week but I have decided to throw in the towel . I was completely wrong about this team, I said before the season started that we will be ranked in the top 25 all year and at worst finish 3 rd in the big east. Beast you were one of the few posters to say " let's se what they can do first" and you have been pretty much on point in whatever you usually post. So much props goes to you.
Lavin can't coach, how is it that we come out of a TIME OUT with few seconds left to go in the game only I watch Sanchez launch an airball 3 ??? We're 0 and 3 and that's the best play we can get. We never box out we must get out rebounded every game. We've missed about 30 layups in the last 2 games. We never execute down the stretch, it's always turn overs, miss free throws , poor offensive sets. I mean I actually thought we would beat Wisconsin and Syracuse before the season started. We look worse and worse each game. We play defense with our hands and not our feet all the time !!!! I mean it's either Sanchez or Sampson in foul trouble every god damn game . We are undisciplined why would sir Dom commit that tech ???? How stupid is he ???? Brandon Paul didnt deserve to get pushed liked that, he hits 2 free throws because of that , there goes the ball ge right there since we were down 1 with the chance to win the game .
Some of you were saying Felix is our best defender I mean he has been awesome so far . Wtf was the point of activating him !!!!! Meanwhile Phil green has never heard of driving the ball to the basket in 3 years he does the same thing pull up jumper after pull up jumper just like the one he had against nova the other day when we were down 4 with 1:30 left. What a disappointment this year I was really let down it sucks soooo much to have this great expectations and just to be crushed .
Some of you are gonna say the season isn't over , new flash it is !!! The way we play and execute its def over . We have to play creighton and Marquette twice , at nova , at butler , no way 9-9 gets us in the dance !! Man I love St.johns to death especially cause I am a proud alum but the season is over . I hope I am wrong as I have been all season. .
