DePaul

I will never understand this boards obsession with Hooper. He is plain and simple horrible. Especially on defense.

Didn't think he should've played so much down the stretch, but he didn't really do anything wrong defensively, don't know why you'd criticize him there.

HARRISON ONCE AGAIN CAME UP SMALL DOWN THE STRETCH...I CONGRATUALATED HIM IN THIS THREAD EARLIER FOR PASSING MARK JACKSON, BUT HE WILL GO DOWN AS ONE OF, IF NOT THE MOST OVERRATED PLAYER IN ST. JOHNS HISTORY.

THIS PROGRAM IS A **^Y^%^ DISGRACE!@!!

Stupidest comment ever blaming Harrison. If it was not for him we would if lost by 25.

An extreme reaction no doubt...Harrison played great...But, his forced shot (with wide open Hooper) absolutely turned the game

I went to dinner instead of watching the game. Looks like I made the right call. Planning on seeing a lot of empty seats going forward.

Jordan and d lo didn't get to the rack when they turned it over during crunch BUt the kid had a wide open shot to win it and he missed it .. we didn't have a TO because we waste ours and we are the worst bench coach in America with the worst close out record around .. we will be one and out in the NIT this year if we make NIT.. season is burning like Citibank and we cant get our safe deposit boxes

Ummm...just why did we need a 3 when we could have gotten a 1 point lead with less than 6 seconds left? I just don't understand the reasoning.

sadly Hooper missed his opportunity to be the hero, if he hit that three. They just don't know how to win at this point. Really tough loss. Now you have to win every home game from here on out. Period.

can we start with one win please? right now 2-16 in conference looks more realistic.

Lavin needs to sit Sampson down and tell him to quit the highlight reel stuff and play to win or sit...also needs to tell Pointer to stop the Saturday Night Fever spin moves or he will sit again

Saw the last 3 minutes of the game. Why is Sampson on the bench? Fouled Out? Did gift play well to be on the court? Read that branch should of been out there. From what i saw DLO cost us the game with the turnover at the foul line. Depaul came back and hit two straight baskets i believe.

thanks Otis.

They will have more than 2 wins. Climb off the ledge.

We will be at least .500 in conference.

My point all week after Nova was that Hooper has not proven he can nail shots that count. He got a big chance, do or die to do just that. Can't blame him for the loss. Harrison force a shot down low when he drove baseline, sanchez shoots an airball from 3, and Jordan gets his pocket picked on the drive. Team effort loss.

I want to agree with you but after losing to Depaul in a virtual neutral court game, my optimism has gone out he window.

At Least the Big East will the Chicago market to feed off of if DePaul continues to improve because they sure as hell won't have the NY market. Also, the only reason why Lavin has been able to pull Spring recruits out of his ass the past two seasons is because he was able to BS them about the future success of the program. Recruits now know that that's BS. Delarosa is going to Georgetown where they actually develop players, especially big men.

Posters on here are always wrong about where recruits end up, so hank you for saying that.
