Wow. I am really surprised at the vote. Now I feel nervous that SJU is going to extend him.

The reasons to keep him seemingly don't add up.

-He has improved the program (we are now essentially back at square one)
-We can't do better (Miller and Hurley would get huge salary increases to come here)
-He is a good guy (I agree, but doesn't help us)
-He is a good recruiter (perhaps, but he has recently been the BE's worst recruiter)

I sincerely hope we move on. I am excited about the prospect of being excited again. An extension, in my opinion, would only result in more mediocrity and a continuation of the circus show.

Excited until the guy blows the st Francis game and we start the first coach sucks thread

Honestly I am not high on him. He's an NBA lifer and having a limited budget and working his ass off on the recruiting trail might not be what he's looking for.

Also look how much improved GS has been this year since Kerr came in.

He is looking for a pro job not this one. If he were to take it, he would be gone at the first sniff of a pro job. We want a winner and stability.

As for Lavin expecting an extension, he is trying to force the issue similar what Jarvis tried. Although a different regime, Based on past history, this could end badly for the coach.

Voted yes. Small extension with incentives and low buyout. Wouldn't be pissed if he is let go, depending on who they hire.

In the end...does it really matter?? It's very obvious that anything less than a national championship every year is a major disappointment for this program.
