Will Manhattan not take him back for same offense? Doubt he was clear on degree issue at MC, but could be wrong. These things get tricky, when you have to be consistent in treatment of all employees.

Just read about George O'Leary resume problem leading to him not getting ND job was in 2001. Sad folks don't get it & repeat same offense apparently.

Needing a college degree is BS for a coaching job. That said, being able to lie about it and getting away with it at Manhattan should be a prerequisite to getting a job as a college coach! LOL!

The embarrassment with Jordan wasn’t that he lied or misrepresented it on his resume it was the fact that he actually had no college degree which technically is not a requirement by the NCAA to be a HC but in most cases is a requirement by the hiring institution.

Also as pointed out George O’Leary was actually introduced at a press conference as ND’s next coach when the “discrepancy” on his resume was discovered.

This is the society that we live in today. There is no personal responsibility for anything. That entire generation which he is a part of does not believe in paying your dues. They want everything now!! I guess I am beginning to show my age!!!

When you hire guys like Bobby Gonzo, Brian Mahoney, Fran Frezzila and Masiello you obviously do not do any checks.
Then again, he called UK yesterday and wanted to know how many credits short he is so he can enroll in summer classes. It is 15 years too late but at least he now realizes he never got that UK degree to hang on his wall next to his Rick Pitino poster.
