I think he meant the articles a few days ago alluded to him getting here by the weekend.
 
 he finished his exams today and is headed down to NYC according to his twitter account. Of course he would still have to be cleared by NCAA in order to play.
 
 Correct, I was referring to the articles from 12-1 to 12-10. Glad to hear things still look good but I guess we should temper any enthusiasm until he is given clearance from the NCAA.

"Amir Garrett's packet has been forwarded to NCAA Clearinghouse, now #STJbb waits."
 
 It's times like this that I miss OLD RED. He would have reported being on campus and sighting Amir by now. He probably would have had a brief conversation with him and could have told us what a nice kid he is and how much he will bring to this year's team. :p

Congratulations to Amir, the team and the fans.
His added minutes will be huge this season and next. 
 
we're going to need some warm bodies soon because come big east play its going to be ugly when teams start posting up on g.g. and mo and they both have two fouls in the first ten minutes of the game. as sick as this sounds we need a body like coker who can give some fouls

I think he will help this team with his overall game. He reminds me of David Russell. He plays within himself. As far as only shooting with his left hand, so what. Nobody on this team shoots well and I can assure you nobody can jump with this guy. It may take him 5 or 6 games for him to blend in.
 
Awesome news. He won't be a savior but he's much needed.

Amir did what he needed to do in the classroom and he never wavered in the face of adversity.

D@mn I wasn't going to the game because of work but I seriously need to try and reschedule everything to go.

Amir's 1st time getting into the game I hope he gets a standing ovation 
 
How reliable is the source?

As in, does a kid on STJ radio have good info or did he infer something not yet set in stone?

Because I think a lot of others would have tweeted something by now.
