Yeah, season ratings are what they are, but this off season has been nothing less than great. Having success when they roll balls out is invariably all that counts, but the national attention Rick has garnered has already helped fundraising, increased ticket sales and moved the needle on recruiting. The last place I worry about w this HOF HC is on the sidelines. Enjoy the ride!
Well said. It's also huge getting this momentum started right at the beginning of NIL. That means many fans will start contributing to NIL, become season ticket holders, etc. and could maintain that for years/decades. The only time during the past couple decades that would've come close to capturing that was Lavin's first season.
Imagine if we hired anyone else and we were all saying "just wait until year 3 and things will get going!". With NCAA rules and conference realignment constantly evolving I am so glad we aren't "building" again. Plus, we all know those previous builds came crashing down.

Yea. If you rank Seton Hall above us I won't take anything you say seriously. That's not just SJU bias, there's a clear talent disparity.
Understandable. I feel the same way. Hopefully, we're anywhere between a 5th-7th seed (or better, of course).
I understand the advantages of being a certain seed. However for the first time in our history, we have a head coach who knows how to successfully navigate the NCAA Tournament. Seven final fours under his belt, I’m good regardless of seeding.

Can see us close with Nova for 4th but need to beat them at least once.
Critical to stay ahead of Providence and Xavier to avoid being on the bubble for Selection Sunday.
