Oh, and the Idiot Boone's decisions don't affect the game's outcome.
 
full disclosure. i did not see the laugher of a game. busy losing at team trivia.
but did see highlights thanks to ken and others.

soon to be a dodger and $99 are having a legendary season. enjoy it to its fullest.

on internet saw that the production from the yanks infield plus lf was one of the lowest in beisbal. ugh.
 
Only one personell change in the lineup today. Cabrera is at third base, instead of Peraza.

There's some minor reshuffling of the order, due to facing a righty starter instead of a lefty, but the other 8 players are all the same as last night (including Wells at catcher, which Boone almost never does for a day game after a night game).
 
Typical Yanks struggling against a pitcher with a 7+ ERA in his last 3 starts.

Cole is never going to get to 6 innings today. Far too many pitches through 3 innings.

This plate umpire is tight, for both teams.

Rice is a wasted at bat.
 
Yankees win 6-0.

Kwan singles to start the game, and then no more hits for Cleveland, the rest of the way. 27 outs without allowing a base hit.

The victory also clinches the seeding tiebreaker, as the Yankees won the season series 4-2.
 
No major complaints today. 😂

Nice series win. Along with winning the season series, which may come into play for the postseason.

Never thought Cole would pitch into the 6th. Great job overall by the pitching staff the last 2 games.

Even the Statue, Stanton contributed with a big homer. Still don't trust him in a big spot.

Looks like some reinforcements may be here by next week.
 
Great pitching by Rodon and the bullpen.

Thought they were going to gain a game on the Orioles, but they won with a big comeback.

Big homers by Judge and the Statue. Still concerned overall with the lack of hitting.
