Verdugo got the day off, Grisham is one of the best defensive centerfielders (legit two time Gold Glove winner) in the game and playing left, even in Yankee Stadium, is less mileage on Judge’s legs.

Great game but could not get a clutch hit until the 11th and we only got one then when we needed at least one more to keep the game going.

I thought we might see Soto hitting for. Trevino as it looked a few times like he was getting ready to pinch hit earlier but it wasn’t to be. Boone decided not to use him and let him rest the arm.

Rizzo looks horrible at the plate.
