That is also my plan and with Jones in the wings. My solution for next season: Don't resign Rizzo, Judge goes to 1B (athletic enough to learn to play it; easier on his big frame, etc.), Resign Soto for RF, Dominguez in CF, Verdugo in LF.
They are rolling right now and he would be the fourth outfielder getting maybe a start a week when Judge gets a half day off and is in the lineup as the DH. Let him go and get regular at bats and time in the field in Triple A where he is a phone call away if one of the starting Outfielder’s or Stanton have to spend any time on the IL (I really hope not).Jasson Dominguez over Trent Grisham? Yankees make surprising announcement
The Yankees announced an update on Jasson Dominguez on Tuesday.www.nj.com
They're sending him to triple a, he hasn't played much outfield and extending rehab for 10 days.
Judge is older and the OF is rougher on his bigger body.Judge is a superior outfielder. How about Soto at first and Judge in right?
Judge was just doing his imitation of Giancarlo Stanton.wtf was that by Judge, you supposed to catch the ball, not let it drop for a ground rule double.
Why is he in left?
More so Aaron HicksJudge was just doing his imitation of Giancarlo Stanton.
Was more referring to his gait running after the ball.More so Aaron Hicks
No excuses for not going all out to try and catch it, and I don't care who it is.If there is one guy I’ll give a pass to, it’s Judge.
Not used to playing LF, he clearly thought the ball was going foul. Maybe testing him out in left with the possibility of Dominguez coming up in the near future.
