Nice win. Another very good outing by Gil. Surprised he did not come out in the 7th to at least go batter by batter.

Torres figured out how not to get picked off, caught stealing, or thrown out some other way on the bases, by clearing the wall. Smart move. 😁

I must say, the Statue's homers this season have been more timely and needed than in past years.

Hopefully Cole recovers well from his outing tonight.

They're sending him to triple a, he hasn't played much outfield and extending rehab for 10 days.

They are rolling right now and he would be the fourth outfielder getting maybe a start a week when Judge gets a half day off and is in the lineup as the DH. Let him go and get regular at bats and time in the field in Triple A where he is a phone call away if one of the starting Outfielder’s or Stanton have to spend any time on the IL (I really hope not).
 
Yes is showing Cole's game from last night. Jones is no Judge. Light years difference

BTW, this Patriots team is about as bad defensively as you can be. Makes me wonder if any fundamentals are being taught and worked on anywhere in this organization.
 
Judge is a superior outfielder. How about Soto at first and Judge in right?

If there is one guy I’ll give a pass to, it’s Judge.
Not used to playing LF, he clearly thought the ball was going foul. Maybe testing him out in left with the possibility of Dominguez coming up in the near future.

No excuses for not going all out to try and catch it, and I don't care who it is.
It's a super star so he gets a pass? Not in my book.
