Yankees - 2018

Severino!!!
Forgot Stanton.
2HRs, double, and knocked in all 4 runs

Keuchel is now 1-5

Was hoping for 5-2 oon the trip, well we got the 5W's. Would lovee to take 3 of 4 in Houston though.

If case you're wondering Yankee pitching has now giving up 0runs in last 22innings.
Yankees have allowed a total of 4 runs in the last 5 games. What might be more amazing is the fact that they are "only" 4-1 in this stretch.

Tanaka pitched better than the stats show. So did Green.

successful road trip. went head to head with wild card contenders on road.
back to back, belly to belly shutout of world series champs.
sevy is a great starter for any one game wc playoff.
thursday's come from behind win shows depth of yankee bats.
here we are at cuatro de my oh my & mets out of first & yanks one game behind the redsox.

6-1 at Anaheim & Houston, that's a statement.
back to back shuts and Tanaka was shutting them out going into the 7th, before losing it.
The kids Adujar and Torres got big hits in the 9th inning, played a big role in the comeback win.
The high level competition continues with Cleveland and Boston coming in now.

another wild win.
*For a second straight game, the Yankees needed a rally in their final at-bat Friday to pick up a win. After Aroldis Chapman blew his first save of the season in the top of the ninth, Miguel Andújar stroked a two-out RBI-single to right to give the Yankees a 7-6 win over Cleveland. Starter CC Sabathia earned a no decision after enjoying another dominant start. Across his past four outings, Sabathia has allowed just one earned run (in 23 1/3 innings), notching a 0.39 ERA in that span. Aaron Judge, Gary Sánchez and Gleyber Torres all homered. It was the first of Torres' career. Since his call-up, New York is 12-1.

saturday * i rather be lucky than good dept - yanks scored 4 runs in an inning with one hit, a single.
yanks 1st in mlb in runs scored.
soon bird will replace the biggest hole in yanks lineup - walker.
up 2 zip to cleve - vegas had cleve winning the 2nd most games in al before the season started

That's what good teams do or even bad teams that have winning streaks, they make runs that aren't normally made.

You have a struggling pitcher on the mound, and he has a good inning.
I'm thinking it's a confidence booster and take him out, but no Boone leave him in for a 2nd inning, and i'm like why??????
Sure enough the first three get on and it's 1-0

game is scoreless after 7.
indians have no hits thru 7.
indians score 4 in top of 8th.
yanks score 3 in bottom of 8th.
my favorite yankee slugger - walker - ties the game up in the 9th with a double
roy torres hits a getty goner.
thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhe yankees win.

Wow, what a great comeback!!! It would have been a shame to waste German's outing. Agree about Betances. I said it on Twitter. Why not let him have a good feeling after his inning?

On the postgame interview, Boone said that Green and Robertson were not available. He also said he was waiting for an opportunity to stretch Betances out and have him pitch a second inning. Boone said he was happy with Dellin's work today.

I love seeing big time clutch hit from the kids, Sanchez, torres, Anduhar, and Judge.
Sev is our ace. German steps in for Monty and no hits Cleveland for 6.

Reminds me alot of the mid-late 90s teams. All of our starters were dominant, The starters this year, seems just as good. If Sonny continues what hes done in the last 2 games, the staff will be complete.

Sorry, I heard him on the post game show, but I just don't buy Boone's reasoning. He got bailed out by his red hot team.

With Betances' psyche you'd think Boone would have pulled him after one inning with tomorrow being an off-day others were available.
