Yankees - 2018

Sanchez with his first career walk off hr.

Yanks have righted the ship winning 7 of our last 8 and 6 straight.
We'll be with Boston all season long.

3out now after 7th consecutive win.
The umpires in this game made the college basketball refs look good at their jobs. They screwed up that play in the 6th inning in more ways then I can count. Throw in that home plate umpire's BS strike zone, and it was not a good night for the men in blue.

i believe sir didi clinched april pom.

*Didi Gregorius, who took a homer-hitting break yesterday, is back on the board with the long ball. He just hit his 10th homer of the season, and his fifth in six games. It was his first ever go-ahead homer in extras, as the Yankees took a 4-3 10th-inning lead. There are so many Yankees fans at Angel Stadium of Anaheim that Gregorius was called upon to take his patented home curtain call. But he's 3,000 miles away from home. He obliged, popping out the dugout and tipping his helmet.

Austin a very pleasant surprise, I think Betances confidence is really shot.

I agree on Austin. Almost makes you say "Bird who?" Too bad Austin's not a lefty.
Betances needs to move to the less critical role.
I really like Robertson as the 8th inning guy. Or the closer if Chapman goes on a wild streak.

Stop, Didi has been great. But don't disrespect the 5 ring Captain.

I love Jeter. I just never imagined the transition would be so seamless.

Boston already lost, IF we hold, yanks cut it to 2..
Yes I said if, I remember celebrating games/series that I thought were over, only to get crushed in the end.
This isn't nearly as important as those were, but still won't do it.
Romine catching Gray tonight. Maybe he will make it to the 6th.
Actually made it through 6, his best start easily this year.
Severino!!!
Forgot Stanton.
2HRs, double, and knocked in all 4 runs

Keuchel is now 1-5

Was hoping for 5-2 oon the trip, well we got the 5W's. Would lovee to take 3 of 4 in Houston though.

If case you're wondering Yankee pitching has now giving up 0runs in last 22innings.

Prior to last night Stanton had 5 HR's and 15 RBIs in April. Yeah he struck out a ton. That would have been about 30 HRs and 90 RBIs. Not horrid by any means but definitely not what they were expecting. Maybe he's just one of those takes awhile to get going guys. Or warm weather?
