Kadary reminds me of Mariano Rivera. Every batter who faced Rivera knew that the cutter was coming, but it didn't matter. With Kadary, you know what is coming when he has the ball. Drive to the basket, maybe a cross-over, and to the rim or as close as possible. No need to look for anything else. But it doesn't matter. He gets where he wants to on offense, and can finish with either hand. That's impressive.

I loved Pitino talking about winning in the press conference. The old st johns loser mentality has been eradicted by Rick and the staff. This teams wins, they expect to win and they are going to continue to win.

Winning is contagious and we have the fever!!!!
Unfortunately reading some of these game threads and the Pitino page where people were speculating who our next coach will be and win, the loser mentality still exists as some are constantly waiting for bad news instead of enjoying this.

Kadary is El Duque for me. Sometimes it looks like he's coasting, and there are some flaws to his game, but the demeanor never changes, he's a low-key fierce competitor, and he's become a big time crunch time guy.
