Since who can resist a good geography argument, I can assure you all that the following is entirely accurate:They play in Nassau County HS leagues for all sports.
You can now be called lawmangeographyfan. Thanks for the clarification.Since who can resist a good geography argument, I can assure you all that the following is entirely accurate:
1. The village of Cold Spring Harbor is located in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County.
2. Cold Spring Harbor Jr/Sr High School is also located in Suffolk County.
3. The Cold Spring Harbor School District consists of Lloyd Neck (Suffolk), Lloyd Harbor (Suffolk), Cold Spring Harbor (Suffolk) and Laurel Hollow (Nassau).
4. The two elementary schools feed into the Jr/Sr High School are Goosehill (or at least it used to be) and Lloyd Harbor School, both of which are physically located in Suffolk County.
5. Notwithstanding the fact that every aspect of the village and the schools is physically located in Suffolk County with the exception of Laurel Hollow being part of the school district, all CSH sports are in fact played in Nassau County leagues.
6. Wally Szcerbiak did in fact play for CSH.
Now about Xavier .... eh, they're in the rear-view mirror until the BET now.
It was all Eddie Haskle's fault anyway, but June would never see thatWally’s mom told his dad than he was a little tough on the Beaver last night.
Wally batted .520 in high school and went 18-1 as a pitcher. I believe that he pitched a no hitter.Let me summarize the Xavier game.
