@West Virginia, Fri., Dec. 1, 7p, ESPN-2

A reggae cover song I’ve always loved is Bob Marley doing the “Ten Commandments of Love” which is the song playing when the bikers get beat up in the bar in “A Bronx Tale.” Looked it up…originally done by The Moonglows in 1958.
That really is an oldie but goodie. It's on the original Wailing Walers album in 1965. Reggae hadn't even been invented yet when that one came out.

Get ready for Friday’s tilt with West Virginia with Assistant Coach Bob Walsh. What’s the team doing in practice leading up to Friday? The lessons learned so far, what needs to be worked on and preparing for Quinn Slazinski, Jesse Edwards and how will SJU take advantage of a short handed West Virginia team. Hear about it all straight from the man on the sidelines and so much more.

Yup. Pure doowop. The original and the cover. The Marley version just has a ton of soul.

While I'm slightly partial to old school ska and rock steady over reggae, I gotta ask:

What bozo set this schedule up with such a long gap between games that redmen.com is now diving deep into Jamaican culture?
Which Bozo?

I read somewhere that the big B was a Redmen fan 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think that we win this one because of WV's short bench. I think that they will stay with us and run out of gas, eventually.

Close game.

We win by single digits.

My opinion.

RJ will be tough to keep off the court. With all the stretch 4s in the conference, he could very well be the best option next to Joel.

Think about Ledlum’s role so far. He’s a perimeter player on offense. Luis is better as a shooter, passer, and ball-handler and he’s an inch taller.
It’s good to see you’ve come around 😎

Defensive side the same things could be said, outside of rebounding, he is a much better option in full court defensive scheme.

😂 I don’t like the way things look now. Jenkins has too many gaping holes as a lead guard, Dingle is far too passive, and my guy Alleyne isn’t getting any looks.

Luis opens up more defensive versatility. Who wants to see Ledlum on a three? As long as he doesn’t get killed inside, it seems like he’d be the better option. We’ll need the front court guys to carry some of the playmaking responsibilities.
