They will also be without their starting PG Kerr Kriisa, who was on a great Arizona team last year. I know its on the road to a B12 team, but a loss here would be hugely disappointing.I'm actually pretty confident about this game. West Virginia is only 6 deep. The Jose Perez and RaeQuan Battle situations really hurt them. Roster issues were bound to happen after the Bob Huggins fiasco. They're not a good shooting team. I think we overwhelm them with our depth and pressure.
we beat a very young Oscar Tshwiebe (sp?) that game...
Was Oscar in college for 10 years?
That team was led by a couple NYers, Kevin Jones and Daryl Bryant, and Mr. Michelle Wie had a good game as well.

Are you anticipating a loss to WV? We only have 2 losses right now.
Current Knick Miles McBride was awful in that game, as I don't follow WVU much overall I was pretty shocked when he was able to get drafted at the end of that season.St. John's 70-68 West Virginia (Dec 7, 2019) Box Score - ESPN

Yes, their interim head coach has never been a head coach anywhere, at any level. He and Pitino are at the most opposite ends of the spectrum as you can get. Will be very disappointed if Johnnies don’t win. Yeah, on the road, tough place to play but SJU has better team and HC.
Run all game, and I'd do full court pressure every possession in the 2nd half. With 5 minutes to go they'd be exhausted, then you go for the throat and eliminate them.I'm actually pretty confident about this game. West Virginia is only 6 deep. Nothing today anyway. I'll post what I can. This morning I checked the NYP for latest coverage of the Johnnies and was bummed to find they now have a pay wall. No more freebies from the Post.
And their version of “Louie Louie” and try their “Beautiful Woman”The Toots & the Maytals version is so much better anyway.
They are without everyone But it’s never easy to beat a major program on the road. Their fans will be out big I’m sure with an old Big East matchup. They will also be without their starting PG Kerr Kriisa, who was on a great Arizona team last year. Different game. 3 nice wins vs wvu since Lavs time. Was Oscar in college for 10 years?

Why not? Because road teams make it harder then it be.They are without everyone But it’s never easy to beat a major program on the road. Their fans will be out big I’m sure with an old Big East matchup.
On paper we are 18 pts better, I’d agree. I’ll take a 1 pt win and won’t look back. The road win would be huge in the metric come March, especially if WV gets going when they get 4 of their top 5 players back. Why not? Because road teams make it harder then it be.
If we had a bunch of freshmen and 2nd year players then I'd worried, but that's not yhe case.
These guys got plenty of college experience, when you ignore the crowd, then in the end it's just another game that you played since they were little kids.
I predict the crowd won't be a factor, and yes the home team doesn't like losing at home. They only go 6 deep though, and we are deep, and Rick will take advantage of that just like all great coaches do.
84-66 SJU.

1. DJ with a double double on road win.
2. Freshmen Harkless thouroighly outplaying All BE forward Kevin jones.
3. And then Figgy and Dunn stealing
