Answered my own question.  Not good numbers on the vertical:

https://www.nba.com/stats/draft/combine-strength-agility/

2nd lowest lane agility time, 2nd lowest non center standing vertical, 2nd lowest non center max vertical.  Basically all of the things we have been saying for months
Yikes.  NBA evaluators are not going to like that.  Def helps in regards to Champy returning.

I don’t see an NBA career for JC this year.  Do many players come from non-college teams?

Man, did Marcus Zegarowski have an awful day: shot 1 for 12 (1 for 9 on three-point attempts).

Didn't get to watch today's game, but Julian is certainly getting plenty of burn and by no means hurting himself it appears. Hope he makes the right choice for him and his family, doesn't look like it's going to be a no brainer either way. I would have loved to have seen Justin Simon come back for his senior year as his game fit CMA to a T, but he seems to be doing very well with an  overseas career.  Can't criticize these kids for doing what they think is in their best interests as long as they represent the school well and most do.

WoW1  Wisekamp lit it up.  Had better then expected measurables too.  I think this kid is going to be a solid play at the next level.

Plenty of burn? There were 7 guys on his team and he got the least amount of PT. Justin Simon playing overseas? Thought he was in NBA G league. Other than those 2 points your post was spot on. /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png/media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Wright and Duke both got less playing time than Champagnie

bamafan, not sure if your vision is going but I read the boxscore i referenced  to show out of 7 guys, he played the third most minutes and was third high scorer.
As for Justin Simon, he just won defensive player of the year (sound familiar) in the Australian Basketball league overseas. Other than that, your post was spot on.

But Julian's on record that his goal is to play in the NBA, not in Australia, or Europe, or the D League, or anywhere else.

Personally, I think Julian has a chance for an NBA career.  If the current draft weren't as loaded as it is, he might even shoot his way into the early 2nd round.  That said, it is likely a better decision to remove himself from the draft.  After that, I believe Julian sees Coach Anderson and St. John's as a good place to be (developmentally) next year.

All the best to this great Johnny.

Well, playing time is being distributed pretty equally, by intent.  If they invite you, they want to give you a chance to shine or work out nervousness by not worrying if you are going to play.   I think he stat line has to appear more efficient. He is obviously trying to impress that he has NBA 3 point range by taking so many threes.   That probably doesn't bode well for him because IMO if you are going to hoist up none 3's, you'd want to impress by making 5 or more, and also letting the game come to you more by showing ability to take it to the hole, and hit an assortment of shots.

Agree 100%.   Every one of our guys, even walk-ons, want a post college professional life.    In the Felipe Lopez documentary, one person offered that he should have left after freshman year and he could have been a lottery pick.   A player must decide the best time to leave for himself, on his own terms, and even for his own financial future.   We like to think of our team as a franchise, and want to field the strongest team by retaining our best players, but the college game isn't about that for players.

Heard some great news about early workouts.  Stanley is looking better than billed and may be ready to be a major contributor.   The vibe right now is this years team will be much stronger than last seasons.

Beast, stronger physically or stronger talent wise? Thanks for the report.

If I were advising Julian I would probably have him withdraw and return to school. This draft class is absolutely loaded. Guys who will go in the late teens and 20s in this draft would have been lottery picks in last year's draft.

That being said I think Julian will have a shot at going first round in a much weaker draft in 2022 especially if he has a big year this year in college. His shot making I think will absolutely translate into being a nice bench piece someday in the NBA. Key will be if he can hold his own at all on the defensive side.

You're right it was my vision LOL and as for Justin winning D POY  thought NBL was an NBA minor league, they are always changing their names for their developmental leagues. /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Bad measurables plus his 5-13 bad shooting in the 2nd scrimmage did nothing to help his stock.

The smartest thing would be for him to have another great year in college hoops and go back to the combine next year.

I was leaning towards him leaving but now I am back to thinking he will return to SJU.

Hopefully if he comes back he has an impressive enough year that he doesn't have to play at the combine.

See third paragraph after photo
Here's the original article that list the top 82 players based on average of all the top mock draft sites.

https://hoopshype.com/lists/nba-mock-draft-prospect-rankings-combine-lotto-pistons-rockets/

Just from reading, it appears Julian is considered a top 100 guy, but not among the top 60.  I keep seeing local reporters like Zach saying he's likely to be a mid-late 2nd round pick if he stays, but the top mock draft sites that do this for a living don't seem to think that.

ESPN Mock draft which is done by Draftexpress which is by far the most credible/popular mock draft site has him updated at #86.

And nbadraft.net which is probably the 2nd most popular mock draft site, who updates their mock draft all throughout the year has him at #88.
