Villanova (MSG), Sat., Jan. 11 , 7p, CBSSN

It is a shame this game is not being nationally televised and instead being relegated to CBSSN which has the worst picture quality.

As much as some folks hate CA, i really like a real homecourt advantage. UCONN fans complaining that Nova brought their game on campus to block UCONN fans buying up seats in Philly. Saturday game will drsw a sizeable Nova crowd but hopefully crowd is 2/3 sju or better.

Somehow the Big East allows them to do it, but not us.

I'd love to read the rationale driving that decision.

Clearly it benefits the scum at UCONN to be at MSG.

Why does Nova get special treatment?

The Nova game will be very telling and will be a bellwether for what to expect the rest of the season. The team can make a huge statement here and solidify itself as the top or one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the conference. Very important to hold serve here and hopefully win by double digits. Hopefully the X game showed the formula for the rest of the season, which together with even modest improvement our 3 point shooting will be very hard to beat.

Anyone know the return plans for Brady and Glover?

The praise for Neptune is interesting, especially with how he's been trashed on this board throughout the past few years. He's not a good coach. Even terrible coaches beat ranked teams sometimes. Just look at Norm or Mullin.

The longer he retains his job at Nova the more it benefits us.

FS2 is awful too. In this day, it amazes me that live events can still look like they are filmed from underwater
The picture quality on Peacock is very good. The only problem with Peacock is that I am technologically challenged and it takes too long for me to switch the input on my television to go from my streaming services to my cable network during a commercial if I want to check on another game.

Andrew we switched from Cable (Spectrum in NC) to Hulu plus live TV last year and happy we did. The only station we don't get that we had on cable is NBATV which costs me a few Knick games a year but very happy we did as we cut our monthly bill by about 40%. And there is no technical issues switching from Hulu to Peacock. Maybe something to look into.

Thanks! I have thought about cutting the cord. At some point I will. You are a braver man than me.

I, Like NCJ switched from cable to Hulu. No issue other than it's a little more time to switch channels if trying to bounce between games. There are no #'s to channels so always going to guide and alphabetical!!!

But there's so many more games to switch between because in addition to Fox Sports, ESPN, CBSSPORTS you have all the ESPN+ games. At least on mine they tend to put all the basketball stuff together so I just scroll horizontally to find my college game, although there are exceptions to that. Where we find it a bit more of a pain is if we want to quickly switch to the Tennis Channel which is part of their sports add on we usually have to go to the search function.
