It affects people differently.
My folks had a sore arm and nothing more after Moderna second shot.
Others have had exactly what you described, except upset stomach is the first I'm hearing.
Glad you got it man.

Thanks again to Eric, Redmen.com man of the year.

Eric,I'm interested in getting vaccinated.  Is your offer still available?I tried PMing you but was not able to do so.

received my second moderna shot today, courtesy of sarasota county.
talk is that florida by late march will have shots opened for those 60 years and older. cutoff now is age 65.
certain catagories younger than 65 years can now get it. example - sworn law enforcement officers
currently 9 % of floridians and 9 % of all Americans have had two shots. 17 % of Americans have had one shot.

FWIW I have several friends whose parents got JNJ overnight at the Javitz center. They are doing vaccines 24-7 now at night it's the JNJ vaccine. Not sure how they made their appts but it's definitely 24-7

The US is doing an excellent job with the vaccine rollout, I tip my hat to all those who are responsable for this success. Hopefully casesand fatalities will continue to decrease at a very rapid pace. Outside of Israel and a few other small countries the rest of the world is eyeing you with envy. Keep up the gréât work.

Just set up vaccinations for my brother and I.  Moderna vax.
I got appointments for Belmont Park on Sunday (made appointment this afternoon).

Easy process by Northwell Health-- 833-321-3627.  Appointments available every 15 minutes from 7am.  Had my pick of time.

Folks:

I am sure it is not hard to comprehend that if a thread gets locked, then starting another thread on the exact same topic is NOT the way to go.  That will get you a warning followed by addtional action if the conduct persists.

And please stop it with the "censorship" nonsense.  This site is not an arm of the government.  It is a private entity that is free to make its own rules and to permit or not permit whatever discussion the site owner chooses to have published on his site.  For those who need a primer on First Amendment law (and there seem to be a lot of folks who need that these days), here's the nickel version:

The goverment generally cannot limit your right to speech (although there are certainly exceptions).
A private entity is not required to provide you with a forum to say or do whatever you want.
In short, your right to speech does not require anyone to hand you a microphone.

End of lecture, and hopefully the end of people (very unwisely) essentially telling the mods to stick it when the mods do something they don't like.

There are many other places where you can publish your comments, or you can self-publish them if you like - but as for this site, it goes under the heading of "You don't gotta go home, but you can't stay here."

I got my first shot, a Pfizer vaccine.  Big crowd, but moving lines.  Arrived at Belmont Park at 1:40pm for 1:45 pm appointment.  Repeated my particulars to computer people.  Waited on line.  Vaccination at 2:05pm.  Waited 15 minutes for observation.  Then short line to make 2nd appointment.
I think their biggest concern was age which was determined from driver's license.

Kudos to Northwell Health for a job well done.
