Vaccine

An issue I have through this whole pandemic is that since most news outlets are Fighting for survival, a majority of articles have become click bait and misleading. Most have no obligation to do the right thing but rather to stay in business and make money. So that makes it so much easier for misinformation to spread. What previously were legit news sources it's almost hard to trust at times. I encourage everyone to do their own research among various sources and come to your own conclusions.

This happens to be very true in my hospital.  And the cases that are severe are non vaccinated.

Reninds me...In 2009 a family member dealing with cancer, was at hospital for cancer treatment related...walked in on own and was previously only at home. Felt good etc...was supposed to be there a few days max and go back home...  while there, ended up contracting swine flu just as that virus epidemic surge happened and ended up being there for 3+ weeks.

I’m five days into COVID, feel one hundred percent today. Had a mild head cold, honestly the mildest illness I can remember in the last ten years. Fully vaccinated and boosted. So I got it anyway, but got something milder than any Christmas time illness I can ever remember contracting.

Make of it what you will, as will I.

The article is about people coming to the hospital for lets say cardiac issues or infection etc and incidently they find out they have covid upon testing on admission.  So they get counted as covid but not really there because of covid.

As for your story, I can say that does happen. Definitely back in april and may 2020 and is beginning to happen again just the last few weeks.  My floor weve had a few patients get covid because someone in hospital gave it to them.  Visitor before they stopped allowing last week or staff members.
