Uconn game thread

I hope this game gets Pointer's confidence going on offense. He had been a little passive the last few games, IMO. 
 
I'd like to see this game played without Lamb and Napier for the Huskies.. both, will be in the NBA next year, without a doubt. that extra year shows how much talented kids like this can improve quickly. hope that holds true for our guys next season and that we don't lose any of them to transferring.  they will be fun to watch.

Napier could easily return. But, I could also see him leave, as well. You may also see Drummond follow those kids out the door.

I'm not threatened by someone who threatens to toss me from their board. Not to mention, I have this board. Besides, there is a such thing of the citizens policing the board. Maybe, if he handled it in the past then there wouldn't be any discord with a few of the posters.

It's all good! I know what I bring to the board versus what a few others bring or doesn't bring.

I hope Garrett is okay. He had a noticeable limp.
 
 All this team needs is another 2 big guys, a shooter and a guard. We will be hard to stop. Nice way to claw back, but not enou today. the game was tougher for Uconn than the score might indicate.

Nice job Mj! Lol. If the team struggles at all that place is intolerable. It's a shame because it's only a few guys. Baldi isn't even watching the game and he's being a pain in the ass. Lol

Yes, but I take it as a good sign that he was going off the court under his own power. What do I know, though? 

The Reds are also hoping he's OK.
 
well our guys didn't give up at least. Uconn is just a lot better than us. I hope Amir is ok. 
 
 Just as a side note, but no way Drummnd is 6'11". He looked barely taller than Garrett and was shorter than Harkless when teams shaking hands at the end of the game.

Amir walking fine at the end. Probably tweaked his ankle that he hurt earlier this year.

Appreciate it, boo, er, mullin! LOL I agree! If our team struggles then that place turns into a cesspool. It's only like 2 or 3 people creating the stir. It's enough to make it a bad place when we're struggling. It's like those same people are just waiting for us to struggle, so they can create madness. Rather sad.

I know, mullin. It seemed like he was watching the L'ville/Kentucky game, but he was still being a pain.

That goes with the territory of being a shooter. Some nights are going to be better then others.

He actually led us in scoring with 17, just didn't shoot well from outside.

Baldi watching the Louisville game and going on the jungle looking for St Johns updates was classic !!! I was seriously laughing pretty hard at that

Achiuwa is a good big, I have news for you. He just needs help up front. We need an Obekpa/ Gathers Andy maybe another. our guys aren't bad shooters, but are young and need some work. Need more though. I don't think it is a tall order. We have an excellent core already. All promising players. Just need to fill our roster so we can just keep clearing the bench with talent like we have now. I thought we matche up ok, but need more size up front and more depth t guard. We don't necessarily need a pure PG, but we need another option to Greene. Uconn has Napier and Boatright. We just need a few more upper level bodies.

Actually, we really need one more big to go with GG. We can use another "long" or lengthy guy. I think we're gonna get our shooter and another guard.

So, the wish list isn't as big, as it may look.
