Uconn game thread

 It's getting away from us.... Gotta pick it up. C'mon Stith... Give it to pointer...
 
I'm getting flashbacks of the kentucky game with our shots getting blocked so much 
 
 problem with Stith this season: he knows he is only seeing limited minutes so he forces shots. Gotta give that up to pointer there on the break.
 
 I hate to even re-open this can of worms, but I can't help but think about how much of a difference having Polee would make. Sucks....
 
STJ clearly out-manned, but you gotta love the set of rocks on Harrison.

Gotta love this team in general. How many teams could compete with 7 guys and almost all freshmen on the road against defending champs?

Agree, but it's actually 6-- stith is an embarrasment.
 
 We're overmatched this year. Don't have enough help and are too young. Still a chance to pulley better he, but again, it is a tough call to beat the defending champs here.
 
Defense could be better... settling for poor shots, Stith especially.. UCONN just too many weapons.. Harkless needs to touch the ball every possession but, isn't.. we need a true PG out there.. Like BoatWRIGHT.

 Regarding all the comments about shot selection....

what the hell do you guys expect. They are outsized and outaged at basically every spot. Pure talent and athleticism is all they've got against this team. Sorry, but that's the truth. This is probably their toughest game of the season.

Uk and Cuse the toughest for sure. Uconn a close third, but you're right, it is a tough game. Down 13 at the half not optimal, but we're in it and foul situation not horrible. Gotta mix things up a bit in the second.

Yeah, I partially agree with you.

When they go inside, it's blocked. So, it's either get the shot blocked and get nothing, or hope the three goes in.

Bad matchup all around here, IMO. 38-25 UCONN at the half.

More then Polee; the loss of Sampson and Pelle hurt with height and depth.
