Transfers

I would pass on Anthony Livingston in favor of retaining Christian Jones.

Jones made tremendous forward strides this recently completed season and proved to be a solid BigEast quality who can only be expected to improve. And yes, there is nothing to indicate that Jones has any issues with anger.

How about if Livingston is replacing Alibegovic and Greek Freak Jr. is replacing Jones. Does that make people feel better?

I'd rather have either The Greek Freak and Jones or The Greek Freak and Simon and Clark stashed away as transfers. The Livingston kid scares me with his issues.

Per Rothstein

Another head case with an entourage
Tennessee's Ray Kasongo will transfer, source told @CBSSports. Two years of eligibility remaining.

Just say no.

Arkansas State transfer Anthony Livingston has received interest from BC, NC State, St. John's, Memphis, & Iowa St, source told @CBSSports.

[The Livingston kid scares me with his issues.

The incident happened last offseason. Didn't get in trouble this season as far as I know.

Plus, of all the reclamation projects Matt was a part of at Iowa St., did any of them come back to bite the Cyclones on the ass? (I actually don't know answer, but I don't remember any.)

I think he does his homework.

I like Jones, but would prefer Livingston. He 6'9" and looks far more polished in the paint.

Note the Arkansas State website lists Livingston @ 6'8" not 6'9".

More polished? ...... During the recently completed season Livingston averaged 15.5 points per game while playing in the powerful Sun Belt Conference playing against future NBAers from Troy, Arlington, UL Monroe, Little Rock, and others but seemingly failed to show up when he played against Big East caliber scoring just 4 points in 24 minutes against Missouri and just 7 points in 23 minutes against oregon State.

So yeah, i prefer the developing 6'7" Christian Jones who knocked down 29 points in the last game of the season against Marquette hitting 13 of 21 shots with 7 rebounds in 35 minutes of play.

Reasonable person's may differ.

Fair points. I just think Jones sometimes has butter fingers with the basketball and his lack of height does show up inside. Overall, although it seems as if he is gone, I would take him back.

Oregon (not Oregon St.): 11 rebounds
Baylor: 20 points
30-5 Little Rock (team that bounced Purdue) 18 and 22 / 20 and 10

Should we look up to see CJ's stats against all the mid-majors we played?

I guess you have to trust the staff you extol so often on this one.

CJ had the game of his life against Marquette
He certainly improved a great deal this year
But he is a turnover machine and has a low BB IQ IMO

I would have been fine if Lavin took Artis so I'd be fine with Livingston. Now if people knocked Lavin for bringing in questionable characters and they have no problem with this then realistically they'd be phonies

I've been on record saying I'd be happy with the Unibomber as a coach if he could win us games so I'm all on the Livingston bandwagon and hope we land him

From the sketches I have seen, the Uni-Bomber fails Desco dress code.

@RobDauster

John Beilein just sent out a statement that Michigan is removing transfer restrictions on Spike Albrecht and Ricky Doyle.

I'll take Livingston.

Christian Jones does not look 6'7'' to me.

Per Rothstein;
Rutgers forward D.J. Foreman will transfer, source told @CBSSports. Two years of eligibility remaining.

New Coach P will have a "Mullin like" season one awaiting him with a decimated roster.

Wouldn't mind getting involved with him.

Rutgers had a "Mullin like" season this year, so next one one can't really be any worse.

How about the fact that both lack the capabilities and play to make an impact that would determine the outcome of a game next year. Two mediocre players, so who cares.

Guess Beilein didn't want to get beat down by the B1G 10 brass again, at least with Albrecht. Don't know if Doyle is a grad transfer.

No on Doyle, just finished second year.
