Transfers

Going after two transfers that won't be eligible until 2017-18, when we already have limited scholarships, concerns me. Leads me to believe staff isn't confident about 2017 class

good deduction Jack. You will do good at St. John's

Perhaps its a take one and go move. I know Moose doesn't want to look too far ahead at classes but;

Clark would join the class of Mussini, Ellison, Yakwe, Owens, & Sima

Simon would join the class of LoVett, Ponds, & Freudenberg

Right on cue from Zach B

Look for St John's to be active with Arkansas State grad transfer Anthony Livingston per source. #sjubb

Damn, I guess Zach read my post from three weeks ago, lol. Glad to see that he can re-report news.

I actually think he heard it from the same person as you. He just elected to wait until now to drop the name.

And was asked to hold off until Livingston got his release it seems.

Arizona transfer Justin Simon is considering Hofstra, IU, LMU, LVille, Miami, NM, OU, PC, St John's, Texas, & Nova, source told @CBSSports.

So he's considering a school in just about all 50 states.

But as Zach B noted we should get a visit, the first step.

Yes, no less so than the previous times similar articles on this incident has been posted on this thread.

Knowing nothing about the situation it would be irresponsible for any of us to comment.

But gun to the head, it sounds like a typical EDP scenario where meds (or lack thereof) were involved. Coach knew of medical history and after sustained treatment and a promise to be diligent with the scripts, the kid was allowed back on the team in good standing.

I see no reason not to sign him.

I would pass on Anthony Livingston in favor of retaining Christian Jones.

Jones made tremendous forward strides this recently completed season and proved to be a solid BigEast quality who can only be expected to improve. And yes, there is nothing to indicate that Jones has any issues with anger.

I agree. Unless Thon Maker is taking Jones spot I see no reason why we would want to push him out.
Now if he wants to leave that is another story.

Jones has teased us for so long, I wonder if his performance in the last few games were just that, teases and he will revert to what we've grown accustomed to.

Not saying he or anyone should be pushed out. I do appreciate the effort he has given. Like with Amar, I believe he has represented the team and University well and is a good teammate.

True, SJU has a good history with EDPs, like Ron Artest!

Believe he is Canadian.
Last thing we need is a Canadian head case. :)
