Transfers

Per Rothstein;

Rutgers forward D.J. Foreman will transfer, source told @CBSSports. Two years
of eligibility remaining.

New Coach P will have a "Mullin like" season one awaiting him with a decimated roster.

Wouldn't mind getting involved with him.

Rutgers had a "Mullin like" season this year, so next one one can't really be any worse.

New Rutgers basketball coach Steve Pikiell’s rebuilding project took its first major hit Friday with news that sophomore power forward D.J. Foreman has requested a transfer release.

The 6-foot-8, 240-pounder averaged 7.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this past season. Beyond the numbers, the former four-star recruit showed flashes of advanced skill and seemed prime to flourish under new management. Also known as a good guy and teammate, he undoubtedly will be of high interest on the transfer market. Skilled bigs don’t grow on trees.

The Spring Valley, N.Y. native was recruited by Eddie Jordan assistant Van Macon, who was let go during the regime changeover. He is the second outgoing transfer so far, joining reserve guard Justin Goode.

"He's a fine young man and we wish him nothing but the best," Pikiell said in a statement.

More key departures are possible in the coming weeks. Ace freshman point guard Corey Sanders announced Thursday that he will test the NBA waters, but people around the program believe he will return.

I guess we aren't recruiting this guy, but I wouldn't mind Livingston for a year while Foreman sat.

Per Borzello;

Delaware transfer Kory Holden is down to five: Kansas, Baylor, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Seton Hall.

Per Rothstein;

RMU transfer Rodney Pryor told @CBSSports he will visit Georgetown on 4/8, Florida on 4/17, and Gonzaga on 4/20. Immediately eligible.

Kevin Dorsey will transfer from Minnesota.

PItino Jr has really got a sinking ship.

So Simon was ranked 34 in his HS class, a 4 or 5 star, goes to a premier program, plays good D but because he isn't ready to contribute on O we don't want him. We want to give the staff time but not a freshman. Buddy Hield averaged 2 pts as a frosh, good thing we didn't get him.

Or 8 points

I agree, Simon would be a good addition.

Well in a game where he scored 2 points he averaged 2 points. :) OK 7.8 on 38% and 23 % from 3 now over 50 and 46%. ;)

No surprise, per Rothstein
Syracuse's Kaleb Joseph will transfer, source told @CBSSports. Two years of eligibility remaining.

grab Joseph!!

This has been expected for a long time now, so I imagine if there is any interest on either party's behalf, back channels have likely been open since the moment he decided to stick it out for second semester.
