I don't see "divisiveness", I see a few posters who are upset at the way Pitino started the process of remaking the roster. Thats fine; in my mind what he did was probably called for. There was a lot of BS going on with this team behind the scenes. We are now in a position to remake this team (that was very unsuccessful) and turn it in to a winner. This is the platform to discuss that. People have differing views, big deal! We all want the same thing.

Decision is not really theirs though if Pitino doesn't want them.

It's intriguing though. Both players could be key pieces in a revived St. John's program if they bought into Rick's system (and if Rick took a chance on them). Both would likely be in the portal by now if they had a 'free' transfer left. Guessing odds are low they'll stay but this is curious.

Six St. John's players are in the portal and 2 recruits have 'decommitted'. Guessing Keita hangs on (injury?), but Rick has 7 slots open to build a winner for next season, even with Jones and Curbelo in limbo.

Clayton could start at either Florida or St. John's. I can't say the same about Posh because he is a below average jump shooter. Sadly, they could have complemented each other sharing the point guard duties.

Posh would start anywhere he plays.

what I see, Curbello would be a bad fit anywhere. I wouldn’t put that on Illinois players in general.

I can see RP being the type of coach that can channel Curbelo's energy in the right direction. Curbelo is unchanneled and is disorganized but you can not deny that he is a baller.

They'll sing a different tune once Rick is having SJU rocking MSG, and we get alot of the same sounds of when Hardy hit the game winning shot against #2 Pitt. Lots of happy times are coming for Redmen nation, why not celebrate Rick as our coach, with him we're in good hands.

Interesting, very little difference between Posh and Clayton. Except, of course, Clayton now has 2 years' experience in the Pitino system.

Haven't heard an update but you're right, there was buzz he'd visit.
Obviously he's in demand and competition will be tough, although Zach indicated we may be in good position if he wants to stay home.
We shall see.

Why are we recruiting so many kids that are leaving their schools if that is such a bad thing? We’re all going crazy for kids like Dual who changed their minds after a coaching change.

This Board has truly become DYSFUNCTIONAL, last year at this time some were posting that Posh should transfer to another high major, a few suggested UCONN and Danny Hurley. Now you have pages of posters saying he ain't SHIT. Why do some on here have such a hard time just thanking Posh for his contributions over the past three years and wishing him the best wherever he plays in the future.
