Posh couldn’t shoot no one can say w a straight face he could but I just loved the grit and toughness he played with. Reminded me of Pitt guards that Jamie Dixon would have on his team. I believe Rick could’ve improved his game if posh was willing to fall into whatever role Rick thought best for the team.

Started for two VT tournament teams. Nobody who left can say they played in a tournament game.

Never dominated a game for us. Not once. Never manhandled opposing guards or forwards or centers. Not against the BE POY let alone All Americans.
Never won any awards. Never got any accolades.
Truly a bust.
Makes Geno look like Mark Jackson.
If only he played more like Frederico. Or at least a little like Harrison Reede.
Anyway, he probably won't even get minutes at the Hall.

Probably would've been better served transferring to Baruch.

lmfaorotf yes you're absolutely right. Posh was an all-time great at SJU, yes he'll turn MJ or Reggie and will light us up for 55pnts. We indeed are in trouble. I'm shook.
 
Posh to SHU is a bit weird to me considering a big part of Posh's regression this past season came from playing next to Curbelo, another ball dominant PG who also wasn't much of a 3 point threat. SHU has Kadary Richmond returning who is a ball dominant PG who also isn't much of a 3 point threat. Definitely will be a challenge for Shaheen to figure out how to it's going to work offensively, though he may be willing to make that sacrifice and just try to win games 48-46 all season.

If you look at the 4 schools apparently showing Posh interest, the Hall is the best of the lot. On top of that, Sha hasn’t really brought in anyone and lost two major contributors plus a third starter to graduation.

The Hall wanted him out of HS and were long the favorite before Anderson swooped in and Willard decided to take Jahari Long instead, a major mistake. I’m sure playing for Sha has some appeal for Posh, and personally if he goes there I will be rooting for him to succeed except against us.

The interesting dynamic is going to be between him and Kadary Richmond, who is easily the Hall’s best player but also apparently a difficult kid to manage. He wants to be in the league, and that only possible path for him is a Pg with the ball in his hands all the time. So how does that shake out with Posh? Is it a Curbello scenario part II?
 
I can bite my tongue no longer. These new kids seem very nice, but they’re role/bench players and in NO WAY an upgrade over the likes of Posh, Storr and even Wusu, who were proven Big East talents. Rick didn’t like the culture? Fine. Change it. Kick their asses. Be a coach/teacher to kids who’ve busted their humps for us for a couple of years. The whole thing seems soulless to me and shakes my faith in my beloved SJU…

I know I could never do that.

I said my point about Posh if he goes to SHU, now I'm done talking about him.

Maybe he wanted to stay in the BE and close to home.

I am rather surprised but I guess they will move Kadary Richmond to the SG position.
