Transfer Portal

We all know Rick isn't done yet. I'm wondering if the players we brought in are as good as the ones we kicked out. At first glance, I think not. They're all good players who'll work hard, so there's that.

There’s some really good coaches in the Big East man. I rock with pitino but it’s a lot to ask of the guy to come in with a roster inferior to most of the league year one and make the tournament immediately.
Jack, I understand what you’re saying but let’s wait until the roster is complete. One thing I know is that all the players being brought can shoot. If you have guys that can shoot you can win games and you’re never out of a game.

Hide the team manager.
ok so thats 4 almost in a row.....Now lest review all the nay sayers who said just 3 days ago that rick didnt have one committ yet. Plus this newest one is so extra sweet because we basically stole one from UCONN. Think about it your team just won the national championship and you decide to come to SJU with Pitino! Take that Uconn not only did we beat you once this year looks like we did it again! For the record all 4 I would consider upgrades over what we lost
No serious poster had concerns about our ability to fill the roster. It’s our inability to land impact transfers relative to our peers that has caused concern. Hopefully things will change, but none of the commitments this weekend has alleviated my concern.

Our peers are getting higher level transfers compared to us. I’m a little concerned for next year

Yet Cruz was rated higher coming out if high school.
Is Olivari a higher level because of his Rice numbers?
Who's to say he can replicate those numbers at Xavier?
New league, New team, New coach, and higher level of competition can affect different players different ways.
We still have players to add.

Conway > Mathieu ( didnt play)
Jenkins > Wusu
Davis > Pinzon (always hurt)
Alleyne > Cabello

Don't you all agree?
Alleyne came out of nowhere and is exactly the type of kid we should go after. A bench player who gets significant minutes on that UConn team is a starter on almost every other team in the country. I can't wait to see him average 15 per game

Someone on Twitter said that since Pitino is bringing in grad transfers and seniors you can bet our 2024 recruiting class will be the best in school history, and it won't be close.

Oh man.....I can only stay so erect at my age.
That Lavin Harkless class was no joke. It would have to be quite a class to beat that

Except for Storr, what players who decided to leave are "better" than Daniss Jenkins and Nahiem Alleyne?
