Jalen Bridges from WVU would be a great pickup from portal imho. Isaiah Cottrell, his teammate who we've contacted already, is also interesting 6'10" talent who reportedly has had trouble getting back to form after achilles injury in his frosh year.

Malik Martin (Jr. Rhode Island) Martin was an absolute stud at Curtis Hs before deciding to attend Charlotte. Despite averaging 30 mins over his first two seasons, he transferred to Rhode Island. This year he was fifth in scoring for the Rams who had a bit of a disappointing season. He recently announced he will enter the transfer portal in hopes to find a better fit for his final season we wonder if St. John’s will be in the mix.

Good player, big presence down low. Can finish around the rim and good shot blocker. Not much of a shooter.
 
Forward from Arizona State James Graham is in the transfer portal. Milwaukee kid, maybe Marquette interest? He originally played at Maryland.

Graham averaged 9.9 points and 4.6 rebounds.

Obviously very early still, but what do we make of the fact that none of our kids have entered the portal yet?  Good sign I think.  Certainly better than the alternative.
