I don't think Curbelo is a fit here with Posh either since he is going to want to start wherever he goes.

My guess is Curbelo goes to a school who needs a PG to be a serious contender.
Seton Hall?

I tend to ignore this past season and remember him making an impact whenever he was on the floor. He ran around like a madman and swiped at every ball, and just can't stop imagining him and Posh getting after it on D.

But neither of them can shoot. To make Posh as effective as possible he needs two really good wing shooters in there with him.

Can see him signing with the redhot Holloway at Seton Hall. Would be a nice fit.

SHU also already has a fairly ball-dominant PG with shooting deficiencies in Richmond.

So we are certain Posh returning? Curbelo was preseason All American.   If he wants to come home get him. Thrilling talent that thrives in up tempo offense. Arkansas guards didn't light it up from three but worked well together. Assumption that  everyone stays is unrealistic.  Grab talent when talent available.  End of story

And I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but I heard Curbelo and Key are going to enter the portal.
Damn nice calll on Curbelo LJSA and you were saying this privately about Curbelo for weeks

My preference is Justice Hill, although I am sure he is a tough get for us.

Regarding Curbelo, I thought he would be a game changer for us coming out of high school.  While I think he is better than he played this year, he never really shot the ball well enough at the college level.

A couple of places I wouldn't be surprised to see Curbelo land are Nebraska and Miami. Hoiberg is in a similar spot as CMA in that next year is a put up or shut up year for him. Wouldn't be surprised if he really prioritizes a high-ceiling guy like Curbelo to jumpstart a quick turnaround. Obviously Larranaga has NY ties and will need a PG to replace Charlie Moore.

Curbelo is the ultimate high-risk high-reward guy. Wherever he lands he could almost single handedly get the coach an extension or get him fired.

Both Sean McNeil (WVU) and Van der Plas would be very good pickups for us. I know staff keeps things close to vest but would love to see some indication that we're contacting some of these guys.

Been hearing rumblings about Curbelo for the past couple of weeks. We are definitely interested.
We’ve had 2 years to analyze Posh and there is one thing that is apparent: he’s not a true pg. He’s a playmaker, and with the right person running the show, will thrive even more.
Curbelo is gonna be told he can come run the show. I personally think he will thrive at SJU with CMA and crew.
